It's kind of ironic that somebody could say the Foo Fighters suck, yet "bow down" to a shit band like Cannibal Corpse...If you think this is their only good song, then you couldn't have heard much of their other stuff, as it's all amazing...

I like this better than the Prince version...

This song is special to me because I'm in love with a girl called Nikki...not that I masterbate with a newspaper to her, though...(that's just primitive)...

whoever said this could have drug references, i don't think so, but it was prince who did this first so you never know...

but i heard it was about some model prince dated named nikki or nicole (i think? could just be a cover name or something..) and dave grohl was rumored to have been dating her before the song came out too. so its about some model or something. and sex.

While this song seems to be surely about having sex with a beautiful woman, a little while back I asked a girl called Nikki out on a date (for the record I was unfortunately knocked back, she was going out with someone else!) but I still think she's a really nice lady and find her extremely attractive. In fact, she looks quite a bit like Kelly Clarkson, and I only thought of Kelly being attractive when I saw similarities in her looks and the Nikki I know! I can only look back and think "if only", becuase the title certainly makes me think of that girl called Nikki, a.k.a Kelly Clarkson or Darlin Nikki! Yes, if only, then maybe there would be more of a connection with this song and you know who!
