  General Comment:Both the acoustic and regular versions of this song are great. By the way, if anyone likes punk bands, I know saying that sounds ridiculous on a post of a punk band's lyrics, I recommend Amber Pacific particularly their song Poetically Pathetic. It has an acoustic version as well that's also EXTREMELY good. Plus Amber Pacific is a great band.

  General Comment:Actually, I feel a bit differently about this song. I think that the writer was in an affair with a girl who already had a boyfriend. He loved her, but it was impossible to start a relationship with her, because he knew he would always be second-best. So, as much as he wanted to be part of her life and "start" this, he knew it would never happen and could only wish to be a "memory."

  Memory:My girlfriend broke up with me back in January after being together a year and a half. Ugly breakup. Now she's with another guy that doesn't even compare to how good I was to her. Everytime I see her she'll hardly even look at me. I just hope she remembers everything I have done for her and how much she means to me. I wish I could have her back, but I know it could never work. I'll never be the same. Love changed my life, who I am. Every night of pain is full of memories. Never forget.

  Song Meaning:I think its about a guy who was in a relationship and they got into a fight and broke up and they kinda want to get back together, but hes kinda thinks the same thing will happen all over again.

  My Interpretation:definitely about a break up.
  'this may never start, this could fall apart, and id be your memory' before the relationship started he knew it could end, and obviously feared it. he knew if they broke up they'd still have memories though.
  'losing half a year waiting for you here. id be your anything'
  he waited and waited for her to come back to him, with no intent on giving up. obviously she still didnt come back to him.
  the whole chorus just shows how much he wants back with her, but knows it won't happen. as much as he misses her, he's glad to still know that they both with hold on to the memories.
  'get back, back, back to the disaster' he wishes he could go back to the night it ended, and fix everything then and there.

  General Comment:I think a lot of verses in this song can mean different things. It could be about a boy that likes this girl that he fell for because of the memories that makes him notice the memories are special and they make him feel like he never wants it to end and he's willing to do anything to keep her as a friend than nothing at all, even if it means getting back into the bad times they had together.
  
  Or it could be about a friend or more that makes him realize that he's in the good times, and he is realizing that he finally found the time and the friends that give him the memories he'll keep forever. But something happened and they aren't friends anymore. But I don't know about that one.
  
  But either way, I love this song, it's amazing!

  General Comment:I think this song is about a guy and girl who were really good friends (" get back, back, back to where we lasted) but since they decided to have a relationship, he is only her memory, because the breakup was messy or something. Either way, he just wants her to stay a part of his life, and vice versa.
  ooorrr, it could be that he was too scared to ever start the relationship in the first place in fear or ruining their old relationship(friendship maybe?)
  either way, i love this song, everyone can relate to it, and it just makes me want to cry, and smile ,cuz it's so good :))

  General Comment:it's about two people who had to break up before they can really start something. i refer to it as something like long distance problems. i mean the girl has to leave. she is living far away. but when they have the chance to reunite he or she screams "come back".. maybe they can try again. they are so ready to be each other's something cause they never wanted to break up in the first place.

  Song Meaning:I think the songs about someone who was best friends with a girl for a long time and they were both happy and were almost basically boy friend and girl friend just not completely one of them Finlay asks each other put but that other person says no so now things are the not the same any more between them to like they used to be and are still friends but just not the same any more and so he wishes he could go back and make it so he never asked her out
