I think it is about how quick people are to support wars when the necissary stimulus is thrown their way, when in reallity, it is all about money and power.

It starts off, talking about the soldiers, who fight to the death, because they have been fed a load of lies and scare tactics.

Most soldiers are ignorant and uneducated. Thats why they are soldiers not Lawyers, doctors, politicians etc. They are pawns of the government and no one can deny that, and they are fed lies into their cause. So arkhaic you are wrong. Anyway being in the U.S army these days is not about defending your country or rights, its about exploiting third world countries with Oil and to shit on anyoen who tries to stop that.

DECO, sorry to burst your little condescending attitude you have going on there, but you clearly do not know what you are talking about at all. I'm an enlisted infantryman, yet I scored a 97 on the asvab, graduated top in my class from a military academy, and I am taking college courses right now. OH yea and the fun part! I turned down a full ride to become a doctor and then have the same profession as everyone else in my family. YOU are wrong, conceited, and attack the very people that allow you to sleep at night without mortar shells landing overtop of your house. Before you even say anything, I am not an anomaly to the system at all, there are plenty of fine enlisted and comissioned men and women who are extremely inteligent, but unlike some, are actually doing something about what they beleive in. Finally, do you really think you can bring up the 'ole oil argument to prove anything? Stop watching the liberal ass media and fly yourself over there to see what is really happening. THE MEDIA IS NOT THE TRUTH. You are so incedibly ignorant to everything happening in this world. My guess that is because you are probably sitting in your living room watching the war report with random clips of Fahrenheit 9/11 mixed into the commercials, but who really knows these days. Basically not all soldiers are stupid, even if they are infantry and don't talk about subjects you only hear about through a lens that focuses on the bad. They didn't say the soldiers are stupid or cowardly or anything bad at all!! They said that they are ignorant and , sadly, they are ignorant. I can say I am against BUSH but NOT soldiers. Soldiers are people just like you and me that are sent on a dangerous mission and are very brave for their actions. But does that mean that they know what is happening behind the scenes?! No ... not always, there may be some that know bush is shit and there are the others that are ignorant (the ones that think bush is a good guy) Let's just all get along here people! We all like lamb of God!

your right fumaguy2034 the media is not the truth the media lies and gets paid to do it and soldeirs are also not stupid no one should say they are my grandfather and many great uncles served in WW2 great grandfather in WW1 and an uncle in korea.
BUTTTT that comment u made about how the only reaosn we can sleep at night is because of soldiers is also bullshit and a very ignorant thing to say, japan hasnt had an army since WW2 and no one has attacked them since then eather switzerland hasnt had a (real) army since god knows when and hell hitler spared them in WW2 if anything id say that an army makes ur country more likely to be attacked not less.

YOU WOULD HAVE YOUR HOUSE BROKEN INTO, AND EITHER BE KILLED NOW OR LATER FOR BETRAYING YOUR GOVERNMENT. I think that this is a reference to bush, and that he poses as a powerful figure head, but actually he's a coward, who sends troops into Iraq, and Afghanistan ect without a 2nd thought.

This means that bush will use anything he can, to get his way, and then say that it is justice, even if it is something that stops the progression and advancment of the country.

and he does it all, just so that he can become wealthier, and in a higher state of power than before.

This means that it doesnt matter if the reason for doing whatever it was (probably refers to war) that he was doing he'll do it, as long as he stays in the relativly high up and comforable place that his father made for him.

This means that as bush sends himself higher, into more power and comfort, the normal working men (and women for the politically correct people) of the country are pushed down into an even worse state than they where in before.
As for people arguing about what it's like to be a soldier, yes soldiers are pawns of any goverment that has them, that is not an insult, it's a fact. Secondly, the people who are saying that soldiers are stupid and braindead, how ignorent are you? You can't treat a group of people as just that, within it there will always be individuals, and your standard infantary man has to have some level of intelligence, cos you have to have AT LEAST a level C in maths english and science, and thats your standard guy. After that you'll have chefs, feild doctors, mechanics, pilots, electricians, people with various computer skills, the list goes on.
Yes soldiers are there for our protection, but isn't the reason for wars today the fact that some countries have weapons and armys?? (eg; IRAN!!)

You are pointing the finger? How can YOU be that ignorant. Heres a few countries where government and armed militants have totalitarian authority; North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, Tibet, Somalia, most of the Eastern and sub-Sahara African nations, Thailand, Indonesia....the list is well populated. Granted the chances of such violence occurring the the US and other industrialized Western nations are slim, but there is not doubt there are totalitarian governments in existence.

If you knew anything about the Iraq conflict.....you would know its not just about religion. Our forces were and still are mostly caught up in a multi-level civil war within Iraq. They just arent killing each other over religion, as you so mistakenly out forth. While religion may play a large role in the conflicts, i.e. Sunnis vs. Shiites and so forth, this is a conflict for POWER and influence. They may hate the other Muslim sect, but they also fight amongst other militants of the same camp as they are, in seeking power and local authority.
