This is my fav AILD song. It shows that Tim Lambesis has one hell of a vocal range. That's why he's one of my favorite songs.

But its about having a crush on a girl who doesn't seem to notice him. It's either that, or a girlfriend who seems to be growing appart.

this song, like most of As I Lay Dying's is about Tim's relationship with God. It clearly about a point in time when he turned away from God, perhaps in anger "losing his senses" but that only brought him more misery. Beneath all the misery that came, when he came back he still found love.
