Lyrics for 94 Hours as interpreted by Aerion

94 Hours Lyrics
94 hours of regret for me to realize what i held
unfading beauty, not just a face
i held its innocence within my heart, now i won’t let go
the torment of your eyes has awakened my soul
the pain of a moment’s time will forever beg your forgiveness

When I heard the double bass in this song I thought of a machine gun. I have heard some amazing double bass lines in other songs, but this one tops it all. I saw this band live a while back and thought is was the most amazing live show around when it comes to musical performances.

I think it goes:

94 hours of regret for me to realize what i am
unfading beauty, your just a face
i held its innocence within my heart, no, i won’t let go
the torment of ...your eyes... has awakened.. my soul
the pain ....of a moment’s time ....will forever beg.. for forgiveness

i think..

the double kick is down in triplets rather then normal double kick the drummer is going 1,2,3 were normal double kick goes 1,2,3,4 thats why it sounds so fast.

The machine-gun bass kicks in this song are killer! This is my favorite song on that album, although the whole CD kicks major ass.

16th note triplets...lightning fast double bass...it sounds fast cuz it IS fast. In fact it's been proven that there are only a few songs with faster double bass. Best part...their drummer doesn't use triggers. God bless him.

This song is amazing! I hope to see them in concert some time. I think this song is about losing somehing that you loved. But that's just me. I'm not much of a huge fan of bass, but the drummer in this song is insane. One of the best songs I ever listened to. Hey, did any of you know that AILD is a Christian band?? Doesn't seem much like most of you do.

"the torment of your eyes has awakened my soul
the pain of a moment’s time will forever beg your forgiveness"

i think that part is christian because "the torment in your eyes has awakened my soul"= jesus being tortured and hung on the cross, he thinks that he had to have been the son of GOD because, who else would do that? its like when he heard what he did, it made him believe..

and "the pain of a moments time will forever beg your forgiveness"= after he (jesus)goes through the pain and torture and then beats death, it was and is clear that HE was the son of god and the people who did everything to him, will be begging his forgiveness, and even today, they still are..

all that sounds like im preaching, im sorry, but i just thought thats what that part ment, i have no ideah about the beganing..sory

Obviously it's not abotu a wayward child. Whoever said it was about messing up a relationship was really close. xsilentscream22 is the closest. The song IS about Jesus Christ and His redeeming act on the cross, and how the writer feels conviction for his sin, because sin puts you outside the presence of God, hence the song's opening verse. Obviously this band's a Christian band, who write about Christian issues. I don't really like them, but they're devoting their time to Christ, so props to them.
