    General Comment:Hmm... I didn't know this song was about overseas military personnell... That makes a lot of sense once you think about it.

    Anyway, it still works on other levels. Personally, it makes me think of the death of a loved one. I first heard this song just as I was beginning to accept the death of my grandfather. I really missed him, and he was someone who had always been there for me no matter what, and was always willing to give me advice. Every time I hear the chorus it makes me think of him.

    General Comment:Well to help everyone out. I saw train in concert tonight and he said this song was for the people serving our country meaning the military and spouses.

    My Opinion:Well I'm obviously going off on a tangent here lol but this song makes me think of the movie Titanic. Like in the beginning it talks about "sailing ships" and how they thought "the floors would keep them safe and dry," because no one ever expected the ship to sink. Also, it says "And every word I didn't say caught up in some busy day" kind of reminds me of how Rose didn't say how she truly felt until the end. When the song talks about saying goodbye, it's like how many mothers and children said goodbye to their fathers and husbands. The part that makes me see this connection the most is "instead it feels like it's impossible to fly with you I spread my wings" or something like that lol it reminds me of how he understood her when nonone else did and when she came back he held her on the ship and she felt like she was 'flying.' and the whole song basically demonstrates how he was always with her and that's what got her through life.

    Again that's just my two cents lol. And I still agree with everyone else.(:

    General Comment:I love this song. It really means a lot to me. I believe it is about someone you have lost that is watching over you. Every time I hear it I think of my brother.

    General Comment:I just saw Train this week at Riverbend in Chattanooga. They dedicated this song to everyone in the military and all their families. I believe that is what this song is about. This is one of my favorites :D

    General Comment:I think this song is about how he and his girlfriend or wife go through hard times but still love each other and work things out. its a great song. great lyrics and music and train are one of my faorites.

    General Comment:I think this song is all about having faith in heaven and not fearing death so much. When someone you love dies, people say that you lost them. But if you believe in heaven, when you look to the sky you know exactly where they are. Its like yes, they are gone for now physically, but emotionally and spiritually the tie is still strong. Having faith will give you strength but having love is what makes that strength worthwhile.

    General Comment:I absolutely love this song. It reminds me of one of my really good friends I met during school a few years ago. She has changed my life for the better in so many ways, and I could never thank her enough. Even though we don't see each other often anymore, when I listen to this song, I remember how much she taught me and how much life is worth living. This song is amazing; it means the world to me.
