Come back to me, this is unconceivable
Breaking apart the ones you love
Hate runs deep for what you've done to us
Left alone through suicide...suicide

I just want to die, take away my life
lay by your side, please:.

Look at my face you pierce with a blank stare
No dream could prepare a heart for a lifeless friend.
He's gone. Nothing will take back time.
I need him back, but nothing will take back time.
(take back time)

I can see just fine, you in my life,
there by my side as it starts to fade
I know this can't be right, stuck in a dream
a nightmare full of sorrow
Nightmare - full of pain

I look back and see the twisted road
Best friends and despair took its toll
Take away

You can't be replaced
I'm left alone with you
in spirit and the words
you wrote to me

Sorrow, sank deep inside my blood
all the ones around me, I cared for
and most of all I loved
but I can't see myself that way
please don't forget me
or cry while I'm away

General Comment:I understand the anger in this song as it's in response to Part1..but does anyone else find it kind of selfish that this person wants their friend alive just because they feel they need him? It seems kind of selfish that someone wants you to be alive and miserable because they can't or don't want to live without you.

You just never really know what someone is going through.

General Comment:Honestly I don't really care about the real facts that made them write the song, I only care about it's meaning, and how it goes well with.. erm.. Jimmy's death =( Well, I think there are a few sentences that can be pointed out as really meaningful here :
" I just want to die, take away my life, lay by your side, please" : the person speaking (let's say Matt), doesn't give a damn about afterlife, he just wants to die to get away from the pain of losing his close friend, the one he relied on to stay strong. He wants to disappear, along with his friend , without knowledge of what might happen after death.

The title (I won't see you tonight PART 2) , and the chorus from the first part (Sorrow , sinks deep inside my blood... away) , shows that that person (Matt)'s suicide, will recreate the same situation among another love one .

I guess that's it. Anyway I love this song, it's one of their most intense ones. R.i.P Jimmy <3

General Comment:<<<<< This song is beautiful and a FUCKING MASTERPIECE. >>>>>>

it tugs your heart strings thats for sure and especially now that the Rev has tragically left us.

That Fuckn Sux Fuckn ASS, he was an extreeeeemley talented artist and it will be hard to recover from.

Some people just dont get it do they, A7X are so smart and incredibly talented at creating and playing music, some people just cant grasp it. Its like beautiful poetry and like any great poetry past and/or present, not everyone gets it and some think they get it but are way off base. I mean there are poetry classes and literature classes for this shit and most may not seem to make sense to everyone but the writers knew damn well what they were writing and the message they were trying to get across. And these guys truly create and play music from their hearts, so you must also listen with yours. So dont beat yourself up about it, but if you're one of those types who talk shit about these guys (A7X that is - fuck sorry not putting down poetry but excluding it for this) just because they dont understand what their listening to:

    SHUT THE FUCK UP !!!!

These guys are extremely devoted to their music and fan base, and pour their hearts into their music they make for us and we love and appreciate them for that, so if you dont like it shut the fuck up and change the channel.

To all of the real A7X fans out there, keep on supporting these guys, they need our support right now more than ever with the recent loss of their brother Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan. So go the FUCK out there and tell everyone that you know and even dont know about their new CD coming out which is going to be attributed in honor of Jimmy. Tell all and lets make this mutherfucker go platinum so quick that it makes the world spin faster.
    R.I.P. Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan
You will be missed by so many and forgotten by so few.

My Interpretation:Obviously it's about a suicide note. I think the second is a reaction to it. After all, both songs are part 1 and part 2 of the same title. But in part 1, before I read the stuff about the bass player who attempted suicide, I thought the "bottles are calling me" was referring to someone taking to alcohol, knowing once they start down that road they will never come back.

I wonder if part 2 is from the point of view of a friend of the guy and he is also suicidal after seeing his friend attempt suicide and go insane. There's a reccuring theme about depression and mental health in some of their songs and the way they write them are just epic.

My Opinion:I love how the Part 1 has a quieter, more depressed sound because it's from whoever is considering suicide and how Part 2 captures the angry, upset feeling of everyone around him as a response. "I just want to die, take away my life, lay by your side," is such powerful lyrics. My brother had attempted suicide and thankfully had not gone through with it. It made me think a lot about how I would feel if he actually had and I think these two songs really capture the emotion. One of the reasons I love Waking the Fallen. A7X was writing meaningful songs and wasn't writing to become popular.

General Comment:This song is about the person's friend, who just attempted suicide and how his friend feels about him being gone and that he wants him back.

General Comment:I see these songs (part 1 and 2) to be songs about life, and how you should live it to the fullest and persevere through the tough parts instead of giving up, because in the end it all pays for itself. I have actually had a friend commit suicide, and im commenting alot on this album because it really captures feelings about these sort of things in as good a form as it can get without having to feel it for yourself(trust me, you don't want to.)

while you may not, your memory will live forever.

General Comment:This song is actually dedicated to a former band member, Justin Meacham. Before Johnny Christ came to the band, Meachem was the lead bass player. Unfortunately he had bipolar disorder, and tried to kill himself with cough syrup.

This was copied and pasted directly from wikipedia.org
