  General Comment:Am I the only one that sees this song as kind of like... I don't know...
  Someone is trapped within their own mind, trying to escape from it, but it's capturing them?
  And they're trying to love someone, but at the same time, they can't, because they are completely trapped within their own mind?
  
  I don't know, sorry if this doesn't make sense, lol.
  I've not seen the video, I don't want to ruin the song for me. xD

  My Interpretation:do not look at the video, looks can deceive, i believe that the song is about someone wants to know someone so badly, that they try everything, to the point where the person is endlessly craving for wanting the person now, until they finally break out and escape.
  or i'd like to think the song is about muse wanting to mess with us, therefor singing about a craze to find out what this song means : ) lol.

  General Comment:Could be about anything. I personally get the feeling it's about any person who has every wanted something with such a frightening passion that they'd do anything to get it. The latter half of the song changes the tone of the music from frantic to mournful. This portrays the idea that the person did the unthinkable to get what he/she wanted and when he finally got what he craved so badly it turned out to be not what he thought it was, which in turn destroyed his faith and drove him just a wee bit mad inside.

  General Comment:the video just shows the moral to the song, its a man who is completely obsessed with this girl and whats her so bad, and its driving him mad.

  General Comment:It's almost impossible to discern the meaning of a song from what is arguably a very cryptic lyric. Taking what I saw on the music video, seems like a story of a man waking up in his hotel room not knowing why the place is a mess. The story isn't straight forward, and as we go forward in the music video, the time line goes backward revealing the full story.
  
  The man finds a girl and is immediately smitten by her. She, to his mind, is perfect. Pure, innocent, graceful, the epitome of a Goddess. She without any flaw. He becomes a stalker, filming every minute of her life. Wishing to make contact but afraid to do so. But then the realization that she's not the pure hearted goddess of his vision (where she waits by the street and gets into a stranger's car) enrages him. Yet he still needs her as his, but when she comes crawling to him like a cheap slut (that this delusional man ordered), he snaps.
  
  The video ends at what is the middle of the story. The room is intact, the moment before the hysteria.
