Six bottles went down the drain
One hours waste of time
I'd ask if you feel the same
Still pushing that chance to try
Your breath in this cool room chill
Long hair that blows side to side
You speak and make time stand still
And each time walk right on by?
Like violence you have me, forever, and after
Like violence you kill me, forever, and after
Can't count all the eyes that stare
Can't count all the things they see
She kills with no life to spare
Just victims left to bleed
One drink and the pain goes down
Soft shadows lay by her feet
Lay soft as you slowly drown
Lay still while you fall asleep
(Fall asleep)
Like violence you have me, forever, and after
Like violence you kill me, forever and after
(And after, and after, and after)
Like violence you have me, forever, and after
Like violence you kill me,
Like violence you have me, forever, and after
Like violence you kill me
Like violence you have me, forever, and after
Like violence you kill me, forever and after
Like violence you have me, forever, and after
Like violence you kill me, forever and after

what does that mean?
Another way of saying infinity. He means more than forever. If forever is already infinite, he'll love her even after that. Real love, true love, pure love.
I’ve missed you very, very much since that last night we were together, and will hold that night especially in my memories for years to come. I’ve been turning it over and over in my mind lately.
I’ve read your letter through at least four times, and will probably read it more times before I’m through. I’ve been sitting here, looking at your picture and getting more homesick every minute. I’ve wanted that picture more than anything else I know of, except, of course, you yourself.
I keep thinking of you, Darling, keep wishing I could be home with you, but things don’t look so good on that subject. But this war has spoiled a lot of things for everyone, I guess.
I’ve never been so lonesome in my life as I am right now. I’m completely lost without you, Darling. I never realized I could miss any one person so much. I just hope it won’t be too much longer until I’m able to be with you again… and live a sane and normal life.

I'm going to see blink this summer so I was listening to all their albums I had sitting in my closet when I came across this song.
I remember I used to despise it, but taking another listen, I am addicted to it.
Now the story Tom is telling is pretty straightforward. "Man I adore her. But so does everyone else in the room. I know full well how she works, she's a heartbreaker, yada yada yada"
But I thought the things that Mark is mumbling in the interlude were kind of interesting, and they have to have a deeper meaning to them.
"Who'll stand by your side?"
she's got all these relationships but nobody wants to stick around to see what happens to her.
"So watch my eyes, watch them turn while you go change"
He cant bear to look at her while she changes, he wants her to know that. He wants her to stop being a maneater. Maybe "While you go change" doesn't mean undress though. Maybe it means a change of heart. As if shes changing for the worse right before his eyes and he can't stand to watch.
"Curtains down."
"All the eyes that stare" are no longer staring. Its just him and her.
"When all their skill was cut, and I bled."
Listen to the second verse, "She kills when the life despair
Just victims are left to bleed" Maybe she's cutting others' confidence, but he doesn't let her get inside that deep, he refuses to be rendered insecure, so he just sits and bleeds instead.
"There were forces of John Jones"
To be honest, I have no idea. John Jones is an average joe kind of name. Maybe he's just saying, they were everyday forces. Or maybe something entirely different.
"I can't make you happy, it seems all I ever do is try."
pretty self explanatory.
"You could never cut me deep enough to leave a scar"
Another "she cuts her victims and leaves them to bleed." reference. She hurt him alright, but he wont remember her, or he wont let her bring down his self esteem too much.
"So take this gift, its something to save."
Save has several meanings.
He could mean that he's giving her something to remember him by, although he wont have any memories of her.
Or he could mean that he's trying to save her from her old ways.
Alright, I'm done rambling, I hope that made sense to anyone who spent their precious time reading an aimless comment of mine.
"Who'll stand by your side? So watch my eyes. Watch 'em turn while you go change. Curtains down. When all their skill was cut, and I bled. There were forces of John Jones. I can't make you happy. It seems all I ever do is try. You could never cut me deep enough to leave a scar. So take this gift. It's something to save".
pretty good song
