Wow, just wow. This cd is like a year old now and i still go back to it. This song was such a part of my life the past year, it was exactly what was going on. Brilliant song.

I saw Blink last night and they did All Of This but with Mark singing the part of Rob Smith, sounded amazing, this has got be one of Blink's best ever songs

i think this song is about a guy who just got out of a deep realtionship and is using holly as a rebound, though he knows it's wrong, so when he says "use me holly come on and use me" he thinks that if she abuses him then it will be ok and using her as a rebound is not so bad because she's just using him too. but that's just how i think it goes down.

this song is one of the best..if not the best song on the album. it's just really different and deep. much like what everyone has said already. and obviously it's about how he's with someone but wants someone else sooo badly. he's so desperate for her that he's just saying use me. this song kicks ass

you have to listen to at least the end of easy target to get the little guitar stuff that blends into the beginning of this song.. SO good.

and mr. smith? can we say fuckin amazing? best song on the album in my opinion.

ive listened to this song at least 50 times already..i dont think i could ever get sick of it! the two voices together sound so good..i love it. im not really getting the whole "use me, holly" part..is he saying that to his attraction..or the girl he is with that he isnt in love with?...so confused.

Indeed this is a very, very good song. Very clean in all ways. But yet very different from other blink-songs. The newest album really shows a side of them I have never experienced, but yet indeed good. You see I'm having this little "what girl to choose"-problem right now. And I just steped over this song. I have the album but I never thought of this song really. A time ago this was just another great blink song. But when I listened to it the other day it hit me. This is exactly how I feel right now. I think this song pretty much is about what we all feel from time to time. We are all very unsure about ourselfs at some times. When we don't really know what to do next. When we have something but still want more. But if we get to much, we will all lose it all. You see, sooner or later we need to make up our mind. You can't live your life always longing for someone. I know, peolpe always play one another, it's all about beeing sure about what we really want. Mainly this song is about someone trying to make up his mind. It's really fragile yet so beutiful. Hell.. I need to shut up.. really.. ( :

i love this song!!! i think it's about how the guy is in a relationship and he doesn't really love the girl...the one he really loves is "holly" but he can't be with her. it's just so depressing he needs someone else to use so that's who he's in the relationship with.....i don't think he has to choose between two girls--no doubt he loves holly way more...but he just cant be with her so he needs to use someone else to help ease the pain a little even though it doesn't help, because he still thinks about holly--"another night with her but im always wanting you". but he is so despretly in love with holly that he doesnt even care if she loves him--even if she just USES him, he'll still get to be with her and that's all he wants....

I think it's about a guy who is always involved with other girls, but when he's with them, he cant stop thinking about Holly. I think that Holly is a girl who he is in love with and he can never have her, so he has other girlfriends to replace her and in the end, always winds up realizing that he can never have her. My guy friend is obsessed with my bff and every g/f hez had, hez never luved her. He alwayz ends up trying to get, "holly".
Anyway, now that uve heard my boring story, im done.

this is by faaaar the best song on the album! robert smith is so sexy and his voice is just haunting! The Cure kicks ass. some of the younger people today should listen to them. Im only 14 and there my ALL TIME favorite band!!!

Umm I'm generally going with the 'he really wants Holly' theme. Partially because the song seems to recreate the feelings (for me) when you've realised that you're pining after something you can't have, like it's drowning you. But anyways I don't get it, so here's the story as far as I interpret it;

Possibly, in the same way 'Josie' was the perfect girlfriend, maybe 'Holly' is the girl you'll never have, and she knows you want her and she plays with you, but you know she doesn't want you - hence the 'use me, Holly, come on...' Part of the argument for this is that in the booklet thingy in the CD, the story of Holly goes:

Tom: "A friend of ours told us a story of when he was young, and got asked to go to the prettiest girl in high schools house. He rode his bike as fast as he could to get there, and she and her friend jumped out of the balcony and sprayed him with a hose. He rode home wet, sad and humiliated."

As such, personally, I reckon Holly is THAT girl. Yeah, you know the one, but she's grown up now, and you're drowning in your feelings for her.

Or maybe not...
