Lyrics for KC Accidental as interpreted by fallacies

KC Accidental Lyrics
All your kind, they come in clean
They shut their eyes, they miss their scenes
All your kind, they spoon land-minds
They crush the kiss, they harmonize
All your kind and all your kind
And all your kind, they come in clean
They sleep through keeps
They kill their needs
It's good

im not sure but i think this song is about fitting into a group to belong..."they kill their needs" meaning you forget about your own needs and concentrate on the needs of others to fit in. thats probably not what its about but just a guess.

Members Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning were member of a band called KC Accidental before they formed Broken Social Scene. It could fit in to Rockefeller's comment about not fitting in.

For some reason I think this song is directed at the fans of KC Accidental.

It is about the emo bands that these guys transcend. It's about all the people that sing about their problems and emotions just to purge them, rather than express some lesson it's taught them. They dwell in narcissism, and it's killing meeeee.....

I think he named it after the old band to be ironic and jokey with his mates.

By the way, you can download KC Accidental music on iTunes. The difference is iTunes lists them as "K.C. Accidental." Those periods make a difference.

I managed to find KC Accidental album/ep "Captured Anthems for an Empty Bathtub" using soulseek, which I am sharing now (my ssk username is Meej). The ep, (which I'm assuming thats what it is), is only 6 tracks long, about 40 minutes. I gave it a few listens, and enjoyed it a lot. It's all instrumental, but very detailed and creatively sound.

KC Accidental the song is a phenominal masterpiece that basically introduces you to the brilliant album that is YFIIP. It's so captivating, and manages to still blow me away after a couple of years of hearing it constantly.

ThouMeej is right, this song sounds much better on the album. Damn, you put that CD in and you totally get blown away. That album was a friggin' rollercoaster, you can't know what to expect.

I found another KC Accidental album as well as "Captured Anthems for an Empty Bathtub"... It's called "Anthems for the Could've Bin Pills," and it's also on soulseek. ;D I'd share, but they're not done downloading yet.

KC Accidental the band has uploaded a few songs to "newmusiccanada.com." It's a fantastic site through "CBC Radio 3" to listen to great Canadian music.

If there were one song that I would want to compare to a rollercoaster, this would be it. The instrumental buildup in the beginning is great. The middle is climactic and uplifting. The end brings you back down in a good way.

This is what they closed with when I saw them last summer. The girl I was with (who bought the tickets) was there for Ted Leo and Belle and Sebastian and had never even heard of Broken Social Scene but I thoroughly enjoyed it. If I remember right they opened with a rendition of Shampoo Suicide or a medley that involved it, I just remember parts of the song. I was too busy being ecstatic.

This song is gorgeous. I'm done gushing.

I'm not sure about the lyrics, or what they mean, all I know is that everytime I listen to this song I want to dance crazily and not give a crap about what any one thinks.

Not sure the lyrics here are correct. Other sites have significant differences. For example:

"they come in clean" is "they're coming clean" on some other sites, which has a MUCH different meaning.

Here's the full lyrics as listen on http://www.trap2.com/list_b/broken_social_scene_lyrics/kc_accidental_lyrics.html

All your kind they're coming clean
They shut their eyes, their mess, their scenes
All your kind, their spool and lance
their crash, their kiss, they harmonize
All your kind they're, all your kind they
All your kind they come and clean
their sleep through keys
they kill their needs
it's kill..

Hey guys I know it's sounds pretty dumb but has anyone ever think about what KC stands for? It made me think of Kurt Cobain...but don't laugh, it's just me.

Good Guess but,
KC actually comes from the initials of the two original members of the band; Kevin (Drew) and Charles (Spearin).
