    In what way was he a bad person? The way you write makes you seem like you're some kind of delusional religious fanatic who thinks airing an opinion about organized religioin warrants death through cancer.
    
    As for viewpoints, who mentioned anything about the quote being the only viewpoint in the world? You seem to have problems understanding the difference between stating a fact and stating an opinion yourself. I suggest you wait until you get some manners and the ability to perform logical deductions(it might make you an atheist even) before you make yourself look completely void of integrity through your posts.

    Since when was Chuck a bad person? He never deserved to die its people like you in the world who piss me off you probably dont know anything about Chuck so why talk about him that way & be so judgmental. As D.B. said you seem to have a hard time understanding what an opinion is. Why bring death828 down at least they contributed to the meaning of this song unlike you.

    blackened, technically, according to Christian doctrine, "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God", so its kinda tough calling chuck evil, when he is only as bad as anyone else. many good people have died, and many have died for their Christian faith. all but one of the Apostles died violently, in much more pain than a sufferer of cancer.
    besides, this song does not in any way attack true Christians, only those posing as Christians to make money (simony, as jenz1 pointed out).
    
    finally, surely youve heard of chuck's famous conversion at the end of his life...

  General Comment:Actually it's really about spiritual healers giving sick patients false hope in their 'alternative medicine' when the faith healers know that they don't actually possess the power to heal. Which is generally all faith healers.
  
  This album came out after James Randi exposed Peter Popoff as a fraud on TV.

    it's like telling you that since your parents didn't give you enough attention while you were being raised, that the idea of "attention" is at fault for making you what you are today (i.e. a secularized, uniformed, pretentious minion who has fallen victim to Internet Theology and the Youtube generation, gaining the majority of his/her knowledge from Wikipedia.)

  General Comment:Excellent song from an excellent album. Chuck sings of hypocrisy in the church, for the sake of clarity: simony. The subject of the song uses his position in the church (minister) for his own self benefit despite the very teachings of Christianity. "Preach the good word
  Speak no more, prepare to burn" signifies the man's eternal punishment, on earth and in hell, for his vile acts of simony.
