It actually kind of bothers me. haha The whole song he has a mature view of the relationship but then this line negates it. He talks about being sorry for hurting the girl but the last part seems like he's the bitter one who has been hurt. If he really did break up with her without looking back, isn't he just pouring salt in her wounds by saying that he has found someone so much better? Maybe if she was the one who ended things then it would be okay to diss her. haha I just felt like it was an unnecessary slap in the face.

This relates to a lot of people, because at one point in our existences, we are taken for granted, or take someone else for granted without ever looking back and really thanking them for everything they gave to you, or apologizing for the hurt you caused them & of course the last line "You seemed like such a big part of my life and my heart, but the truth is I found someone new, and she easily towers over you", we make ourselves believe that the person was everything we ever had, we meet someone new, and that someone new is far greater than any expected fantasy we have built in our minds.
