Across the floor in the hand of where we drove the drill
A cautious ear to the mouth of your confession
Think of all the things we put him through
In the face of his god would he tell the truth?

Still recorded were the words that dribbled out his kiss
When eyes go blind in this man of what could once become
Sever the limbs off his torso in sleep
And burn what remains so the world may now see
No longer...will we wait for your answers
Back to the hell where you've come from
Think of all the times you've once had
Write them in a letter that says goodbye

You'll listen to reason while you're face down in the dirt
You'll stomach the hurt and break for him here just how much he's worth

Slowly discarded were the remains of his lonely youth
Among the alley where the dwellers scare to notice
Picture a young boy in pieces and streets with leveled malfunctions
No name to be called redeemer
We'll fix him restore him...with the love is no other
Think of all the things you did before
Write them in a letter that says reborn

You'll listen to reason while you're face down in the dirt
You'll stomach the hurt and break for him here just how much he's worth

Following you across the interstate walking away...I'll fire on
Following you across the interstate walking away...I'll fire on
Following you across the interstate walking away...I'll fire on

On the wrong way out
On the causeway to neverwhere
On the wrong way out
On the causeway to neverwhere
On the wrong way out
On the causeway to neverwhere

Dear my friends in the time we've spent forever after beyond this when will our nightmare ever end?
Dear my friends in the time we've spent forever after beyond this when will our nightmare ever end?

Pull the trigger and the nightmare stops...
Pull the trigger and the nightmare stops...
Pull the trigger and the nightmare stops...forever you will learn[3x]

General Comment:The first three paragraphs of this song detail Mayo's interrogation of Sizer. He is an IRO-bot, a robot, so instead of just killing him, Mayo literally chops his limbs off with a chain saw - "sever the limbs from his torso."

The next part starting with "slowly discarded" detail how Mayo tosses Sizer's remains in an alleyway. Claudio, Coheed and Cambria's son, who has been a recluse the past decade, stumbles upon his remains while arguing with Ambellina. He recognizes it as an IRO-bot, something Claudio is as well. He "fixes and restores" him.

The last part, "pull the trigger and the nightmare stops," harkens back to the interrogation. It is something Sizer was yelling at Mayo, begging him to kill him so that the interrogation can end.

My Opinion:Yeah, The Amory Wars say that the Messianic (or in other words a messiah) Claudio Kilgannon, assumes the mantle of The Crowing, foretold savior of Heaven's Fence. I also think that in the song the part that says "No name to be called redeemer, we'll fix and restore him" I think that line is meant to be No name to be called. Redeemer, will fix and restore him. Because the messiah is the savior of the world, and in The Amory Wars Claudio is the messiah of Heaven's Fence. So I think it is meaning "Claudio (Redeemer) will fix and restore him. I love this song, and its pretty obvious that Claudio Sanchez got his ideas for his comics from Jedaism and Christianity beliefs. FABULOUS!!!

Song Meaning:hokay, so now that the comic has been released the real meaning has been (partially at least) revealed. Sizer is captured by the red army after a battle and tortured by mayo above the Godder Dam, he doesn't talk and as mayo is about to shoot him he says "pull the trigger and the nightmare stops". His limbs are cut off etc. and he is dumped in the Godder Dam. where claudio and ambellina find him, and claudio "fixes and restores him". now the only thing it didnt reveal is what they me by "following you cross the interstate..."

General Comment:I'm Guessing that neverwhere is a fictional place in their universe either similar to Heaven, Hell or Limbo.
And I don't think Monstar virus passed onto Claudio and activated The Crowing.
The Crowing is something which activated itself, I presumed.

General Comment:I don't know exactly why, but I feel in an opinionated mood.

    *Spoilers, I suppose :D*

To me, its Sizer being found by Claudio and company, and Jesse trying to put him back together, literally so. After giving himself up for Chase's freedom, Sizer was tortured, and eventually disassembled. In the last lines, at least to my way of thinking, is Sizer begging die after what he'd been through. Not claiming any answer myself, just throwing it in there.

General Comment:I believe the meaning of the song has a lot to do with the abusive BF/husband. Pulling the trigger and the nightmare stops is simply saying to pull the trigger and kill the certain person.
