wow.. i love how this flows many people who don't know fall out boy should really listen to them and read into them but don't like them for one song like them for everythign they do because they are not that kind of one hit wonder. they are a band you can blare on a major high way with 70 mph's and sing every word to. they are great and this song means alot because its great.

ryang11r0y I definitely agree with you man. Fall Out Boy is truely amazing, everyone of their songs are great. I also blaze them while cruising in my car and singing along lol. They are awesome and hopefully they come out with some more cds that are even better. Rock on!

I think this song is about leaving home, in this case Chicago because FOB is from Chicago, and leaving someone at home without really getting any closure. FOB is substituting physical pain for a deeper meaning. Probably like a girl who lived close by like a neighbor and had a fall out (No pun inteded) and has left town but is still reminded of someone he left behind but feels like he isnt responsible for why they fell apart and will never apogize, but still feels hurt. Hope thats a good start.

i think it's funny that me and my friends also always blast this on any car trip, i was kinda shocked that not that many people commented on their songs, they're definitely awesome, and this song is easily top 2 on the album

I just think this song is mor about a girl who he had feelings for and that she lead him on constantly, the truck outside her house was probably some other dudes and he just cant get over that she would do that to him...but he still basically wants to be with her back home in Chicago

Fall Out Boy is awesome! I agree with everyone else, they are most def. a band you can turn all the way up speedin down the highway and just jam. I'm going to see them at Warped Tour and I cannot wait.

This is what I think this song is about.
He is into a girl and he lets her know... "my heart is on my sleeve". He thinks she likes him because she is leading him on. "... that means I believe every single lie you said." Then he realizes that she is playing him... he could see the pick up truck and it could be some other guy she is with... and then he starts trying to avoid her, but she still wants his attention cause maybe she likes him, just not enough to be with him. (every tap on the shoulder for attention) and decides to do something to get back at her, but while he is going to do whatever to get back at her, he knows he shouldnt be going, but he keeps thinking about the other guy at her house (the pick up truck in front of her neighboors) but then she hears about what he did and she is hurt, and he is like "this is your fault. i'm not apologizing" and he wishes the worst for her cause even though he got back at her, he is still hurt.
Anyway. Thats my take, and I hope it makes sense.

i think this is one of fall out boys best songs. i think it is about a guy who was in a relationship with a girl who lived on his street. she lied to him and went behind his back with some other guy (he knew cuz he saw his truck outside her house) i think he was throwing pebbles at her window to let her know that he knows about the other guy. then he moved away because he couldnt stand to see her with this other guy. now that he's away he misses the girl and wants to move bakc to chicago. the bridge of the song (you want apoligies...) tells me that they wont get back together because why should he apologize for something the girl did wrong. and i agree with takenbacknew because the last line is amazing!

this is my fave song... i love how it begins... "my heart is on my sleeve wear it like a brusie or black eye my badge my witness..." i think it means how much you are heart broken over someone you like... that's just my interpretation.

I think it's about a break-up of some sort. He's deeply scarred on the inside, but she acts like nothing's wrong and that hurts him more to see that she doesn't care. I think their friends broke them up with lies.. "loaded words, and loaded friends/are loaded guns to our heads." I can never figure out the pick up truck part though. I'd have to go with her having a boyfriend but not wanting him to know, so she has him park in her neighbor's drive way. That's a total guess though. He tries to avoid her, but in the end, he just can't, because he's outside her window throwing pebbles to get her back. But this song is definitely confusing.

I think this song's about unfinished business. When the guy moved away him and a girl were fighting and never had a chance to fix things before he left. Now he realizes he still loves her and everything reminds him of her

I think the song about a girl who breaks this guy's heart. He just wants to get over her but he cant. He drives past her house at night and see's her light on and her new boyfriends truck. And no matter what he still loves her, even though she tells him "boy's like you are overrated. so save your breath." So after a while he just get's desperate. So finally she breaks up with her boyfriend.Then she goes crawling back to him and he realizes if i go back to her it's just going to happen again so he teases her by doing exactly what she did to him, and says "you want apologies girl, you might hold your breath until your breathing stops forever, forever the only thing you'll ever get is this curse on your lips: i hope they taste of me forever"

i beleive that instead of "corners" it should be "colours"


it makes more sense and it doesnt sound like corners at all to me...
