Wow. Stacy's mom has got it going on was like, our break the silence song in the quiet lobby after school. Just all the sudden, out of nowhere, girl starts "stacy's mom has got it going on...." and then all the other people sitting in the lobby are singing too. Funny, really. Just like the song.

This is a catchy song but not one of their best, I think my favourite song from FOW is Red Dragon Tattoo... don't know why, it just appeals to me =]

this is one exception
I think they should've used a metaphor tho

It's beyond me how anybody can criticise this song. But then it speaks volumes that those who do are called "Poo Spoon" and someone who made the sweeping statement that any song played at a 5th grade dance "sucks".

Quite simply this is a superb pop song. Catchy tune, Good lyrics and a great video to boot. A great song from a brilliant band.

HAHA I know a girl named "Staci" && her mom does NOT have it going on, but it's so funny, cuz when this song first came out EVERYONE used to sing it as a way of making fun of her, she used to get so mad, it was funny && mean/sad at the same time.

There was a girl I know that I was in a class with. It was an extra program thing and she was 6th grade and I was 8th. All the 6th graders were to shy/quiet to say anything, so I took it upon myself to be the comic relief. I go. "Annie, your mom is hot." Then started singing, Annie's mom has got it going on. I'd never even met her mom before. Then I met her mom and she really was hot. Haha.
