  General Comment:Reasonable song. Not my favorite by them. When I first heard it, I hated it. It eventually grew on me.

  Song Meaning:The song is about his abusive addiction to drugs. He knows they are bad and evil and he hates them so much, but he cant live without them and he "loves" them in the sense that he cant imagine a way to live without them. If you read the lyrics you can realize that it doesn't actually mention a physical person. At the time of the song he was getting through Rehab and he wrote this song (and many others) in response to his addiction.

  General Comment:To me this song means someone you loved screwed you over and you still love them, you miss them when you stop and think about what happened and think about what you could have been when them, and you hate them. So why do you still love them? This song poses that question.

  My Interpretation:This song is about abusive relationships. Whether it be between a parent and child, a boyfriend and girlfriend or any other derivative of these scenarios, and whether the abusive be sexual, physical or verbal, the victim hates how they are being treated, but has this irrational love for whoever is treating them that way. This song is about the confusion caused by these conflicting feelings within the victim.

    Nah...I don't think so. It's not a painful enough song to be about an abusive relationship. It lacks despair and pain and anger. It's about a relationship where for some reason the magnets often repel each other and it drives the person nuts. There's an energy they apparently share and their differences, at times, do not complement the other well. So there's tension, but always beneath that rough surface is a love that apparently just won't die. That's what is so frustrating...when you want to hate someone and kick them to the curb, but you know that as nutty as they drive you at times you still love them more than anyone else.

    Remember the song "You Always Hate the One You Love" ? You can't have hate w/o love. Indifference is the real killer.

  General Comment:A common trend between all 3DG songs and many bands infact, is Broken Relationships, Sorry I cheated now you found me out, and Fuck the world. And you Know what I dont care because they put it together in such a nice package, which is why I absolutely love 3DG.

  General Comment:Great song. Great band. Obviously about a relationship in which one hates the person but also loves him/her. Love and Hate are not polar opposites. One cannot exist without the other. In order to hate someone/something you must have feelings about it/them (ie. you must care enough to hate). The oppostive of love is indifference, a place in my personal life that I am striving to reach.
