    General Comment:Hmmm... I love this song.. But to a point its sad... It reminds me of me and my best friend.. He lives far away.. But we first grew close in the summer... We even went to the beach together.. We both like one another.. But we live over 1,000 miles away.. So unless one of us moves closer we cant be together.. But we are still amazing friends, we know each other better then anyone else.. We talk all the time.. I think we have talked every single day for over half a year... And we spent a lot of those summer nights together staying up late, lying on a trampoline, stargazing and talking.. It was the highlight of my whole year! And I really cant wait to see him next summer... It does sadden me though.. To think of it.. Since.. He lives in Cali and I live in New York... But we both know unless things change this is how it has to be..

    General Comment:I first heard this song when the music video came on in my local movie theatre prior to the previews. I thought it was so cool I recognized Ocean Avenue and Cherry Street because I live so close to Jersey and spend a lot of time there every summer. Then I did more research and realized the song is about Florida and California... WHOOPS, lol. Either way, this is THE summer song for my age group in the Philly/Jersey area. The street names were just very convienient =).

    General Comment:the meaning of this song is pretty straightfoward..i think its about a guy who used to have a summer thing with a girl and he never really got over her and he is just reminiscing on those days because he misses it very much and he would love to just go back to the times when he could just have a fun carefree summer with this girl. he also might want to find her again because he cant go a day without thinking about her and he would love to get back with her
