1, 2, 3, 4
No, I want more
5, 6, 7
It's not OK
How come you taste so good?
This time I'm really hooked

It's half past ten, it's getting late
But the night is young and I can't wait
You know I like it loud
You should know me by now

Something sweet or something strong
Seems like love no longer can turn me on
Like boy need girl and girl need boy
Got a nasty habit called rock'n'roll

But you don't know what it's like
I've done things you've only dreamed about
More than once or twice
It keeps me up at night
Jump up, bubble up, what's in store?
Bryan looked for love, but I want more
I found another beat, there's no time for sleep

Something sweet and something strong
Seems like love no longer can turn me on
Like the girls in suits and those pretty boys
I gave my heart to rock'n'roll
To rock'n'roll
Rock'n'roll
Rock'n'roll
Oh, oh..

So you can call the police
I'm sorry 'bout my manners, but you see,
I'm a bit drunk as you can see
I bet you would like to undress me

Something sweet and something strong
Seems like love no longer can turn me on
Like boy need girl and girl need boy
Got a nasty habit called rock'n'roll

Something sweet and something strong
Seems like love no longer can turn me on
Like the girls in suits and those pretty boys
I gave my heart to rock'n'roll
Rock'n'roll
Rock'n'roll
Oh, oh..

General Comment:"Jump up bubble up, what's in store" is a lyric from the song Love is the Drug by Roxy.
I was listening to the radio and the Roxy song came on and I nearly had a conniption trying to figure out what song it was that I had heard that lyric in before.

General Comment:I think this song is just about them expressing her love for Rock n Roll. But if looked carefully, many parts of the song can also function as a metaphor for drugs, alcohol and sex. And since Rock n Roll is kinda synonymous to sex, drugs and alcohol, it really is up to you on which you'd like to interpret it as.

Or, alternatively you can also consider it as Rock n Roll = Sex, drugs, alcohol, the music rock n roll. In other words, her meaning of rock n roll encompasses all these aspects.

    Just my 2c.

General Comment:i love this song so much.
her voice sounds really calm and sad in this one.
especially in the 'soon you can call the police, i'm sorry for my manners.....'

i'm not sure about any of you, but i think this song just has to do with personal wars of choosing what's good and bad for you, and in this song's case it has to do with alcohol, drugs, and sex.

and in this song, 'i gave my heart to rock n roll' means really that she completely gave herself away not knowing that the hurt she's experiencing is the consequence.

so basically, this song is just about knowing that you've fucked up a lot.

General Comment:Its not about alcohol, drugs. its not about rock & rock(music) being better than love.

    "rock & roll" = sex.

General Comment:what I believe is... shes really talking about alcohol or drugs.

instead of saying "rock & roll" should be "alcohol."

HOW COME YOU TASTE SO GOOD (talking to the drink)

    THIS TIME IM REALLY HOOKED
    (its even better than love)

    SOMETHING SWEET OR SOMETHING STRONG
    (the drinks)

SEEMS LIKE LOVE NO LONGER CAN TURN ME ON.
(shes dissapointed in love so she'll just be a drunk. )

GOT A NASTY HABIT CALL ALCOHOL xD

THERES NO TIME FOR SLEEP (partying getting drunk and perhaps listening to music-rock & roll)

    but thats just me.

    WoOT go alcohol

General Comment:This song is really pretty.
I think it's saying that music or rock and roll is better than love and all of it's confusion.
