    General Comment:I personally think it is about someone that was loved deeply but is now gone, I take it as being dead. I get this from the very opening to the song.

    She no longer breathes and then slips away. In the chorus he is letting her know that he is still beside her as she passes, and also though it will be tough after she leaves the ones she leaves behind will turn out ok.
