Playground school bell rings again
Rain clouds come to play again
Has no one told you she's not breathing?
Hello I'm your mind giving you someone to talk to
Hello

If I smile and don't believe
Soon I know I'll wake from this dream
Don't try to fix me I'm not broken
Hello I'm the lie living for you so you can hide
Don't cry

Suddenly I know I'm not sleeping
Hello I'm still here
All that's left of yesterday

"Hello I'm your mind giving you someone to talk to Hello" Ok, this song hits me hard. I'm bipolar, and my mind needs things to play with. Like playing games within my head to cope.... I often will twist words, lyrics, or phrases other people say, use them as support, self-correction, sometimes spin them with symbolism. Kind of like poetry. Its one of the greatest coping skills I've developed but it also can be dangerous. Sometimes I can't control where my words are directed and it ends up causing a lot of pain, often without my knowledge which is the worst. I've gotten pretty good at controlling them on my own, I just need to know when I've offended somebody....

"Don't try to fix me I'm not broken" ~ Just differently abled lol...
