I can completely relate with this song.
He is more in love with a lover than she is for him, and he is basically saying that he'll be there if she wants him. He doesn't care how it affects him as long as he is somewhere near her.
He also says that sometimes you just have to let some things go. He's trying to get over this obsession that he has with her, or possibly just the IDEA of her, and he says, "I promise to stop now," as if he is attempting to shake himself of the hold she has. He apparently is used to having unrequitted love in his relationships, seen when he says "letting go is my life, I'll be on my way."

This is just a damn good song. I love all of Armor for Sleep's lyrics. They're so deep, and you can't really understand them until put in the situation.

This is the best song in the whole wide world.

I feel the exact same thing for someone. Except it's somewhat 1000 times more complicated.

It's about someonen in love with someone who isn't in lve with him.

it just gets to the point where you're willing to be anything, if it means being near them. even if it means you will be taken for granted, or not noticed or appreciated. at least you'll be there.

I agree with Rllngstn72 and want to add on- she let him go, and he's desperate to be anything just to stay near her.. But he sees that he can't have that, so he has to force himself to let go.

I can really relate to this song
it's just basically he's madly in love with someone else but they can't really be together but he just wants to see her or be near her. But that isn't going to happen for him and he has to forget about her but it's going to be hard for him to do so.

I think this song is about wanting to so desperately be apart of someones life after a failed relationship. It's beautiful because he never mentions trying to be with her. It like he already knows it wouldn't work out and has accepted that but still wants to be something to her no matter what it may be. But reality sets in and he knows he needs to let go. I always felt like when he talks about letting go it's not for his sake but hers and that's why he is promising to stop all this.

we all experience it sometime..it sucks cuz thats just how you feel about some people..
they are too special to you to lose so you'll do anything it takes to be in their life..
even if the feeling isnt mutual..or even if it means holding on to something that is hurting you.
