    General Comment:There was a point where i thought james is like you can't ever be like metallica. It's his world and you can't have it. but colossal girls got the right idea i belife. I have so fell in Love with this album. I used to wonder why there was no solos that we loved in older metallica. Their metallica not us. James voice is awesome. I don't know. I could talk about this cd for a long time.

    I agree with you, although perhaps not demons.
    I'm thinkin more of a battle of self... trying to get control of your thoughts.

    Evil thoughts are tryin to take control of him and he's trying to fight it. He's trying to stay clean.
    It's kind of hard to explain but when i listen to the song... i love it... the message comes to me so clearly. Fantastic.. i love the whole album... it means so much to me.

    General Comment:This song was written about Phil Towle, the psycho-analyst hired by Q Prime management to help the band from falling apart. This was explained in the documentary Some Kind Of Monster.

    James is directly writing these lyrics about Phil, after he becomes incredibly frustrated with the role Phil is creating for himself in the Metallica family. Especially when he starts spewing his psycho-babble "Lets Get Deep" bullshit.

    General Comment:Recently I thought this song wasn't that great... but it's kinda catchy now =P St. Anger ain't that bad, people. And I pretty much agree with others on the meaning. It's basically about not letting people control your life, just be yourself and don't let other people interfere, etc.
