Well I'm frozen like a soldier
Don't know where it stays all over the place
Time froze like an ocean
Don't know the taste of a never ending ache

No no no no
Why I hurry when I'm home
I hurry when I'm home, I'll go
No no no
Why I hurry when I'm home, I'll go
Oh I'll go

It's really not bad not worse than you thought
He'll never come back, he's the man you dropped
He'll never come back, he's the man you loved

It's really not bad not worse than you thought
He'll never come back, he's the man you dropped
He'll never come back, he's the man you loved

I told her, I told her, I told her, I'll go
I told her, I told her, I told her...
No no no no no

General Comment:I always thought it was:

he'll always come back *as* the man you dropped /
he'll never come back *as* the man you loved

Song Meaning:I always thought this was about someone getting kicked out of an apartment because their roommate just took their ex-boyfriend back in. But I GUESS it could be about a break-up.

The guitar in this song is one of my favorite YYYs moments of all.

General Comment:You know, this isn't their best work. It's not an awful song. It's absolutely vital to Fever to Tell, providing that transition to the amazement of "Maps" and the other less sex-centric songs tailing the album. The end reminds me of the remix of "Pin" from their Machine EP, which was haunting and cool but I don't really enjoy listening to at any given moment. The guitar + drums intro is really cool, though. Solid beat.

General Comment:I think that his song is about how war can change a person with PTSD and how it will be hard to go back to normal life at home.

General Comment:I think it's about someone else stepping in on her ex-relationship. She's broken up with someone and he's gone and gotten himself another woman and now she's jealous.
"I told her no no no" as in "No, I won't let you have him"

General Comment:I absolutely love this song, one of my favorites by them.
and I agree that it's about the relationship between two people who used to be together but aren't anymore and (commonly) she still sees him as the man she used to love but to him now he's just the one she dumped and the history/present are clashing.

General Comment:I like how they went opposite in the title. Yeah Yeah Yeahs singing "No No No"! This song is really really good. I like how it goes slow at the first then fast in the middle, then the weird but cool ending. It's definitely one fof the songs I listened to more than the others...amazing. Karen O
