  General Comment:When I hear this song I think of my Father, don't get me wrong he was a nice person... ONCE a hell of a long time ago.
  
  Well now we never see eye to eye any more and we have differenet beliefs now. For the past 4 years we have been fighting and fighting... till I've been blue in the face cause I wasn't gonna put up with his bullying so when I was 18 I started couch surfing and I told them I wanted to move out so they shipped me 3 hours away from everyone I've ever known and I movied back home 9months later and a month after that I started couch surfing again, now I'm out of home again but I did it the way I wanted to but today within 5mins my Father offended me, degraded me and some of my mates, told me I can't go out drinking or to gigs and kicked the cat.
  
  But I feel (for me) that this song is about me telling my Father to get fucked!
  
  Could you look me in the eye? - I doubt he can look me in the eye anymore
  
  Would you tell it to my face or have I been erased - he has replaced me a few times and I feel like the daughter he wish he never had and he can't tell me that.
  
  Are you happy now? - this is what I wanna ask him when I'm writing films, publishing books and doing what I want and I'm not a 'big big big disapointment to him' and I haven't spoken to him for years...
  
  Well that's it I'm a huge Michelle Branch fan and I love her work and I love the emotion she puts out there

  General Comment:I can definately relate to this song, because I was lied to (although I didn't realize it) on the last day of my sophomore year of high school by a girl that I thought was my "friend" and liked me as "more than a friend", and I'll never know if she regretted it or not. I feel that this song perfectly expresses everything that I felt after I found out that she lied to me. Oh well, it's her loss for lying to me, and she'll eventually learn (if she hasn't already) that "whatever goes around, comes around".

  Song Meaning:This guy played so many games with me, cheated on his girlfriend with me and strung me along when he knew I wanted more from him. But when the truth came out he tells all his friends that I'm a liar and I'm crazy then cuts me out completely.
  
  To me, this song is about a somebody (Michelle) through with the games and finally glad to be done but still pissed off. She sees that the person has seemed to move on but doesn't think they're happy and still regrets everything.

  General Comment:This song is amazingg. I can totally relate it to my ex-best friend who ditched me for the "popular" crowd. Every time I hear this, I want to scream in her face, "ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?"
  Especially the lines,
  Do you really have everything you want?
  You could never give something you ain't got
  You can't run away from yourself
  
  I really wonder if she has everything she wanted, she could never give me real friendship because she could never be a real friend, and now she has to live with what she did, and she can't run away from herself.

  General Comment:the song is about a relationship gone spoiled, and now the guy is pretending nothing happened and everything is fine. so michelle lashes out and confronts him, telling him to look her in the eye and say he's happy about all that has happened because she knows he's not.

  General Comment:It is so great to hear some real talent coming from the young american female singers. There are so many around at the moment Duff, Lohan, Lavigne, Spears, Aguilera etc. but Michelle to me is so much more natural, unfortunatley this seems to mean the media ignores her to some extent. I hope she can keep strong minded and do what she wants and enjoy her music. this song is certainly one of her best, real venom with a kick of fun in there as well.

  General Comment:I like the anguish and bitterness of this song, I can totally relate to the feeling of having almost the best of you taken by someone who just doesn't care that much. And after all I'll always wonder if he ever regrets it...
