I think this song is about a person just waiting and letting life pass them by. They have the ambition to get out there, but not the energy, and they are just waiting for something to happen to him or her, instead of them finding that something.

Actually ive changed my mind. I think the songs about someone screwing up in life, and making really bad choices, and the parents are jsut watching helplessly.

It's Sift not Siv. Siv isn't even a word, It's a medical acronym i think.

I like the lines

I think equil is on the right track with it but I feel that it's about making bad choices when your young and then life catching up to...like the feel that the jaws theme would five you, you know it's comming and you feel helpless.

I like how ironic the CD title is. Everyone said that YFW was something plain, that they've heard before. This is like a slap in the face to them, it's like "okay, we've progressed, have you already heard THIS??" and naturally, they probably have not.
At any rate, this is probably one of my favorite songs on the album. I think it's about someone who was just waiting for something to happen. She's just standing there, not paying attention to anything, even though it's "midnight in torrential downpour." Suddenly, she realizes that nothing's going to happen, that her head is pretty darn messed up if she's waiting for something, so she just gives up (the whole "take a picture from the wall..." thing).

is it just me or should this song be titled "i will play my game beneath the spin light"...rather than jaw theme swimming...they should be switched....cause hes talking about the shark and the cage in "IWPMGBTSL" but the lyrics in this song are talking about smoking underneath the playground lights (spin light?) i have no idea im confused.

I cannot begin to describe how much I love that line, or this song. I love falling asleep to this song. That line gives me such a vivid mental picture, it's amazing.

I think this song is about how he feels like even though you're supposed to be wiser when you're older he doesn't feel like he's gotten any smarter. Also I think its about how he notices that people around him are trying to get to the top and he sees whats happening. To me its about how he feels a little lost and confused about what exactly growing older is or means.
