i'm currently listening to this song right now.... i just it stricked me so deeply... my best friend gave this song for me... i loved him and he loved me... but things suddenly clushed... no more laughing nights, nights he make calls... i begun hating him... i said my goodbyes... then he gave me this song... i cried for two nights... i can't believe that my best friend is gone... now i don't have the best friend i used to have...

some of the song is a girls perspective of a break up
and some of the other parts is a boys perspective of a break up
as is states they were best friends when they were together

-the girl broke up with the boy, because all she wanted now was to be friends, but the boy had extremely strong love for this girl, and he got hurt alot, so now he hates her, and the girl is basically asking dont hate me.

-the first line is wrong, its "feelings change"
the girl is basically trying to explain, that all feelings change, and she couldnt help it that her love for him drifted away.

-the girl is saying that, she just wanted to be honest, that it was a mistake to go out with her best friend, him, and that as soon as she knew her feelings changed, she didnt want to lead him on otherwise he would get hurt even more.

-this part is from the guys perspective, the guy doesnt want anything to do with the girl, he wants to separate from her for good because she hurt him badly, and that he doesnt want to be friends, or even the best friends they were before they started going out.

-im not sure what orange haze is, but maybe hes meaning tears fill his eyes? but now the guy has realised that no one is perfect, including her, and that hes starting to understand, but he still has strong feelings for this girl, because whenever shes around, he still feels "weak", and the last line is the guy asking for forgiveness because he doesnt want her to hate him, after he hated her.

-this is basically both of them saying to move on. to not hate eachother because of their mistakes, and to move on "were all done".

i get it... its an obvious meaning...but in all honesty its like you cant have your cake and eat it too..

like..

its cool you wanna be friends with someone again but you hurt them and left them for someone else its not gonna be that easy...plus even if you become friends again its just gonna be akward and you'll probably always remember what they did to you..

but this is really a great song,,cuz it does happen.
