In my opinion the song is about takin' a dump on a girl, like in the chorus, "I'll take everything from the inside" like meaning poop. And the part "I won't waste myself on you" meaning he won't poop on her lmao jk lolz nice song.

For me this song isn't about any relationships, like breaking up with boyfriends or girlfriends.
This song is obviously about, his broken trust. To his parents, to the society. All those dreadful things, he has been through when he was a child (sexual abuse).
That he doesn't want to commit the same faults again.(he has been addicted to alcohol as well)
In my personaly opinion this song reminds me of a friend, who betrayed me, and how it really hurt me. That I can't trust her anymore. How I lost my faith to even trust anybody.

Besides, I love when Chester screams; "I won't trust myself with you"

It’s about being screwed over by someone very close to you over and over again. He is done trying to make the relationship with this person work. Most likely about bf/gf breakup but like most LP songs it’s ambiguous enough to be tied in with anyone you are close to.

Some of my friends talk about me behind my back (or else I'm as paranoid as I think I am) but I keep coming back to them, so I can relate to this song. IDK what this song means but Honestly its my Fav LP song...or should i say my fav song of all it has alot of strong words it probably means about somebody he had trusted so much but then the trust went to far and sumthing went wrong but i really dont know i just love this song

To me, this isn't just about being betrayed, that's much to shallow a thought for such a strong song. This song means so much more. To me, it describes a beaten child, a child who lived through a household that did nothing but beat and hurt them, the video only supports this, seeing as it stars a young child who looks sickly, and a bit scared at the beggining. To me, it seems that the fighting is a metaphor, he's trying to fight for his life and get out of the house, I'll explain with the lyrics. ^^

Most children can trust their parents, love their parents and such. This child isn't sure whether ot not he can. He's hurt by them, but he still loves them.

He has no friends, no caring family, he's just alone, therefore, everyone is "far away".

and the lies"
His parents probally told him they loved him either in public or when sober. And then when home or drunk, they hurt the child.

"Trying not to break"
Whenabused, you really think the world is going to shatter, you really do.

He's trying to keep it together, but this is a lot to take on for a youg child.

Everytime he gets back up, he's only pushed back down. He knows its not fair.

This song is definetly my favorite. My whole life has been lies, deceit, and betrayal. I listened to this song and just broke down crying because it was right on with my life...Once you break someones trust...you can never regain it back...Linkin Park did an amazing job on this song. And the video is awesome too...
