Injecting life into a hole
Capturing freedom through the smoke
Expanding thoughts through pictured squares
Happiness from lines smear your face

Hiding which is scarred
I want you high
Get all strung out
A medicated world prescribes smiles

Drowning the sickness is the cure
Pouring the liquid sanity
Brutal affliction, bottled soul
Who really cares what life is for

Follow in my footsteps
Follow in my footsteps
Follow in my footsteps

Hiding which is scarred
I want you high
Get all strung out
A medicated world prescribes smiles

Get all strung out, get all strung out
Get all strung out, get all strung out
Get all strung out, get all strung out
I need a thrill, I need a thrill

Get all strung out
A medicated world prescribes smiles

It's a wonderful life, it's a wonderful life
It's a wonderful life, it's a wonderful life
It's a wonderful life, it's a wonderful life
It's a wonderful life, it's a wonderful lie

Get all strung out, get all strung out
Get all strung out, get all strung out

Yeah, I think you are spot on. It's like real emotions are too much for some people, so they like to gloss over them.

Anyway, this is a great song and it's a shame that they are not very well known.
