  General Comment:I have an Ex Girlfriend, we broke up about two years ago and I still really love her. Every now and then she'll give me a sign that she still likes me but she just as much ignores me. I'm constantly thinking of her and I'm always wondering whether she still likes me or not. When I listen to Untitled by Interpol I think of her

  General Comment:this song brings tears to my eyes and i don't know why. i haven't figured out quite what it means to me yet, i think part of it makes me think of me saying to people that one day i'll surprise people and come around and make something of myself. on the other hand i feel like i could be talking to a person i care about and telling them i'll always be there. i'm still figuring it out, but i love it. it's such a beautiful and haunting song. gives me goosebumps.

    i couldnt think of a way to describe how this song makes me feel, but i think you've hit the nail on the head for me. it's such a haunting and beautiful song.

  General Comment:I feel very similar the post previous to this one. This song also reminds me of an ex-girlfriend and is amazingly haunting. "I'll come around, when you're down."

  General Comment:First off this song is as haunting as they come, sure genius on the part of Interpol. I have no idea what the song means and what the intent is here. But for me, the line "I will surprise sometimes", reminds me of my realtionship with my ex-girlfriend, we had some rough periods, but sometimes a good little act of love suprised her, that is what I take away from it anyway.

  General Comment:great song... one of the best of the last decade in my opinion (and Interpol made some other songs that are among the best of the last decade!)
  I can't even express the feeling I have when the drums appear at 0:40. Sometimes I listen only these two seconds 10 times in a raw and I keep it in my head for the whole day... The bass and guitars are perfect, the structure of the song is so brilliant...
  And the lyrics are so minimalist! It's reduced to one line which is the core of the song. To me, it's just about a man taking care of his lover. Surprising her by his presence and his support, especially when she's down...

  General Comment:destro713; since joy division are the band Interpol used 'AS A TEMPLATE' - that is a completely dense and ignorant comment. You have clearly listened to Interpol all of twice and judged them as merely a modern copy. Influenced is fair, but using them as a template is a completely undermining judgement.
