i guess. sometimes people try to be strong, like they can move on...live a life on their own. however, you'll realize you are incomplete without that someone, cold nights are longer and harder to bear...you lay down everything just to feel loved...even for just a moment...that is more than enough.

Okay, you guys can call me "gay" if you want (whatever), but I must admit, I like Dashboard Confessional. But that has nothing to do with this song, which I love. It has a haunting melody to it, and I love the lyrics.

Why can't LP make more songs like this one? It's absolutely beautiful. Chester's voice is great and the scratches are perfectly positioned. I always promise myself I won't cry when I listen to it, but when those 'strings' come in at the end it's just beautiful. And Chester actually sounds emotionful, if there is such a word!

in this midst of people falling in love and all of the so called mushy things that occur in a relationship i really feel that a song like this explains the beginnings of love for a young or old person. love happens at all ages and maybe youre the next lucky one.

i love this song, i didnt at first but it grows on you! its a different sound for them and that is a good thing. it makes me feel kinda sad though cuz i can relate but its still one of their best songs! (and they r not sellouts!)

everyone has a "December" their time of the year. Its filled regrets and why did i do thats. The metaphores in this song or down right tear jerking. Chester really makes you feel the sorrow in this song and it is perhaps one of the all time great songs in my opinion.

well, if you take the months of the year and convert them into phases of life you'll get the song. you know, you're born in a "cold" world symbolizes january, and you die a cold death symbolizes december. so when they talk about my december, they mean like you're old and you have so many regrets along with sucess that means nothing in the end because you've left whats really important behind. at least thats what i think...
