shows that linkin park arent trying to capitalize on one style of music that theyre good at. good song.. simple.. but hard hitting in its own way. december for me is usually a time of reflections.. over the past year.. and the cold kind of clears ur mind to all of the prejudices u harboured.. and its filled with regrets.. but also another chance.. anther year

It is filled with regrets like bo0yaa said, it also expirences loss which a lot of people like hearing when they are also expirencing loss because it makes listeners feel that they're not alone.

This is kinda like...well...how it feels if you ever break up with someone...you know? you feel like you shouldn't have done things to the people that you did do. And then you wish you could just go back and say you're sorry for the things that you did but its too late because you're not together anymore. Then, you feel all cold and lonely inside... like your own december inside of your heart and mind. Thats what this song feels like to me. By the way...LINKIN PARK IS THE BEST!! ~*~LOL~*~

I think this song is someone who fell in love, and something went wrong in their relationship. And he wanted his love back so much, he would give up everything he had for it. Without love, life is not worth living

When I hear this song I think of my friends. Of all the good times we had, but feeling like I might have missed out on something. Maybe I should have said something to someone that would have meant more. I also see it as going through hard times in December, but in the end love always shines through. I guess. teehee

What can I say? Linkin park has done it again!!! I've been obsess with this song the first time I heard it played. What struck me most about "My December" were its simple yet evocative lyrics. This song generates a powerful harmonic resonance with a sense of horizontal stream and an emotional melodic core produce by Chester and Mike. This song is incredible.....not to mention LINKIN PARK themselves!

This song sends shivers down my spine and brings tears to my eyes... Cliche as that is, it does... To me, it means that someone just broke up with him, for whatever reason, and he wishes he could take back whatever made her feel that way... and that she was still there for him..

This song's about spending Christmas alone... Or just feeling alone. Could be after a break-up, but it could also be pretty much anything... My parents got divorced this year and Christmas seemed really weird and I felt pretty alone and this song is just great. Could be my favorite LinkinPark song.

this is easily my favorite LP song, and it's definately in my top five songs right now. To me, it means that this person has a lot of things going for him, but he blew his chance w/ the one girl he wanted... he still feels empty inside because he has no one to love, and he'd "give it all away" to have her back.

i bought the japanese import for 53 bucks (with shipping and handling) just to get this song and I already have hybrid theory. this song is great. i can't wait till the remix album comes out....and the fvt cd.....did i mention how great lp was at fvt.......they FUCKING RULED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
