You wrap your arms around
A feeling that surrounds
Like liquid peppermint
Just taste the drinks that she served

And this feeling shivers down your spine
Love comes in colors I can't deny
All that matters is love, love, your love

You're sleeping in your bed
Just rest your weary head
Maybe you shouldn't care
Throw away those dreams and dare

And I wonder if it matters to me
Love comes in colors I can't deny
All that shimmers is love, love, your love
Your love
Your love

My Interpretation:I feel that this song is SP's interpretation of how love happens. However, the title makes
you think. Is it love or lust?

"You wrap your arms around A feeling that surrounds Like liquid peppermint" - sort of interprets
how you first feel when you see someone who is breath taking. "Just taste the drinks that she served
And this feeling shivers down your spine" shows that at first you're confused of how you feel, but
then you decide just to enjoy the moment.

"Love comes in colors I can't deny" - is admitting the fact that you've fallen for this person and you
    can't deny it. Great song.

General Comment:peppermint is a non-cliche' replacement for rainbow

    good call

this all tolls in a liquid fashion which sets the mode through imagery

    "You wrap your arms around
    A feeling that surrounds
    Like liquid peppermint
Just taste the drinks that she served

And this feeling shivers down your spine"

General Comment:For me, this is just a beautiful daydream. Dreamy with a tinge of bittersweetness, this feeling that leaves you wondering. Does this really matter to me? Do I matter to him? It's those questions and feelings, both good and sad, that make you want to close your eyes and fade away. It's just that... A crush.

General Comment:This song is so beautiful. I don't love this band, I have to say, but I was told to listen to Rhinoceros and as this is the one after I heard it too, and I like both, but this is the nicest. I'm not sure it's a drug song, but it does have a lovely hazy feeling to it. It just makes me think about bright swirling colours...which is interesting...

General Comment:i remeber telling the girl i really fucking love that i do. and then she said she liked me too. i wish i could have a relationship with her but like she has a boyfriend. and she still like loves him propperly. so its just like wondering her true emotions. any way thats how i can relate to it.

and this just reminds me of that sort of situation. this song can sure be a downer at times

General Comment:Who cares if this is about drugs or not?

Even if you've never taken acid you can still enjoy the beauty of this song and relate it your own life.

General Comment:How can you say this song is about drugs?! Perhaps if you weren't on so many all the time you could allow your brain to soak up some of this masterpiece and interpret the feeling it instills with a sober mind. This is about love. the song is tittled crush. crush as in a temporary infatuation. "all that shimmers is love, love, your love" ok...
