Never fell in love
Until I fell in love with you
Never know what a good time was until I had a good time with you
If you want to get the feeling and you want to get it right
Then the music gotta be loud
For when the music hit I feel no pain at all

Warm summer night I was drinking with my dad
He tried to give me the love that I never had
But he gave more love to his bottle of wine
So I had to go out and find love of another kind

Here it is
Here I am
Turn it up
Fucking loud

Radio, Radio, Radio

When I got the music
I got a place to go

Radio clash
Magnificent 7
I was a choir boy
You showed me no heaven
Two tools surely lost
No remorse ignoring the cost

Here it is
Here I am
Turn it up
Fucking loud

Radio, Radio, Radio

When I got the music
I got a place to go

General Comment:who the fuck cares if this song is "punk" enough - it is balls out amazing and has great energy... just like whatever the hell you like. nothing could be less "punk" than letting other people say what is cool or not cool for you to like. just be yourself.

rancid is a great band and this song is one of their best

General Comment:this song is simply about how music can be ones salvation...that regardless of ones struggles in life music is the common thread that can uplift and actually to save peoples lives

General Comment:I don't know if it's punk, I don't know if it's rock, but I'm in love, goddamit! No matter how "mature" my musical tastes get, I will always come back to bands like Rancid.

"Here it is, Here I am, Turn it up FUCKING LOUD!!!"

    what more do you need?

General Comment:Anyone else pick up that initially your meant to think its about a girl or possibly then his dad as it becomes more clear but its not till the chorus you realise its not a girl or his father its the radio and the music he loves

General Comment:This song does kick ass. I'm usually not into songs about people's parents because they usually turn out to be shitty and whiny (examples: see simple plan's career) but this is pretty damn good.

I don't really like the NOFX cover very much.

General Comment:fuckin good song, billie joe played guitar on this, he did not have any part in writing the song, something which rancid have said on many occasions, the reason that he is playing guitar is that they did not have a second guitarist yet
