A similarity between the Atheist and Christian bands is that they both often discuss the end of the world. The difference is the Atheist bands will threaten all of humanity to utter termination, while Christian bands believe it is reserved for only those who have earned themselves a destructive end -- in other words, those who might believe we are imperfect but don't believe there is a savior.
Our savior, I believe, is of course, Christ, who lived out a life of perfection (as it is recorded), suffered a highly undeserved punishment of hanging by nails on a wooden cross to die. Doesn't that say something at all? Did he deserve that anymore than the artists composing these lyrics? Of course not. When we look back at that, we should be pleading for forgiveness, not mocking it, because it's a serious matter. But how do we know it's God? Simple. The tomb was opened three days later and his corpse was no longer present, providing evidence of resurrection. Although we know we are all evil and imperfect, if we ask forgiveness, we are, in fact, forgiven.
I don't know if everyone who listens to this believes the opposite of the above paragraph, but for those who do, I would consider a new type of heavy metal. More so for all of you, because I've ready lyrics that have completely changed the way I see life.

But I disgress, I thought I would speak my peace not specificaly about this song but this band in general. Truth be told I find much of cannibal corpse's music to be enjoyable. I also must say that it is nothing that hasn't been done before and better. I would much rather listen to incantation.
I also for some reason prefer the vocals of chris barnes over corpsegrinder (although I despise six feet under).
So, I can understand if you don't like CC's genre, but don't base your opinion on the lyrics because that's not what it's about.
