Wait by the phone
Late alone
He can't help you
But I know I could

Free is too long
You know this is wrong
Everything scars the skin
Push it in, break it off

I'm gonna leave
I'm gonna leave you

I gave it starts
I stomped on your hearts
This the is the end,
No more pictures, we ain't friends
It's raining in my room
There's blood in my spoon
You're out of my highchair
I'm out of your womb

I'm gonna leave
I'm gonna leave you

Free is too long
You know this is wrong
Everything scars the skin
Push it in, push it in, break it off

I'm gonna leave
Gonna leave you

I'm gonna leave
I don't need you

General Comment:I like the sort of childish and whiny way he says "no more pictures- we ain't friends." It adds another dimension to the song: he's not just angry at her, he's downright spiteful.

    Great tune.

General Comment:This song is just dripping with mommy issues, drug addiction and girl problems. Its all three wraped fucked up metaphors. The lyrics alone don't do it justice it has a whole mood to go with it that is just frightening.

General Comment:I don't know if metaphorize is a word per say, but I can see what SFP is saying, as well as mushroomfat. It could go either way.

Either way, this song rocks, just like most all of these guys music.

I never would have even though about the heroin thing to be honest. But the reference to the spoon definitely makes me hear this song in a different way.

General Comment:I agree with SFP, i reckon it could be metophorical to a drug. If I think deeper, he could be speaking about a girl, using drug metaphors to metaphorize her (if that makes sense... and if thats the wording to use) Other songs on the album are about break ups too, which could be the same story. Ill check that out

General Comment:does anyone else hear a little led zeppelin-"babe im gonna leave you" in this? the "free is too long, you know this is wrong" part, seems remiscent of the "i'll leave you when the summer time, i'll leave you when the summer time comes a rollin'" part in the zeppelin song. i just thought it was kind of similar, and the titles are also similar. possibly intentional?

General Comment:Not certain of the full meaning, but "You're out of my highchair, I'm out of your womb" is a great way of saying "you're not my baby anymore, and I'm not yours".

General Comment:alright, i have a couple of guesses.

    a) it's about a relationship with a friend/lover who is on heroin, and he's been trying to help his friend/lover with it, but they're not kids anymore, and this has gone on for way too long. he tried his best, but he's done if it happens again.

    b) he's comparing a relationship he or someone had been in to herion, or some other addictive drug. and now maybe it's in the ending stages, the partner is seeing other people and he makes the another comparison with "push it in, break it off" to, you push another dick inside of you, you're breaking it off with me, because i'm not a kid anymore and neither are you, and i won't sit back and take this shit, i'll just move on. that comparison brought on by "you're out of your highchair, i'm out of your womb."

    etc, etc.
