Does anybody feel this way
Does anybody feel like I do
Does anybody feel this way
Does anybody feel like I do

I built a wall
It stretched one thousand miles
Set it off
(Massacre)
It's holding up the roof
Breast feed your heart
Set it off

I saw a distant port
With no water to support
Burning the bridge between

Does anybody feel this way
Does anybody feel like I do
Does anybody feel this way
Does anybody feel like I do

Never content nor satisfied
Tensions of self
The massacre changed history
Borderline paranoia
Yelling at their own rights
Set it off

Does anybody feel this way
Does anybody feel like I do
Though half of me is gone
The lonesome heart is there

I cannot find the other half
I cannot find the other half
I cannot find the other half
I cannot find the other half

General Comment:To me, the song is about life and death. How life has succumb to the way of 'life' itself. How we vuew what we are supposed to be. The title explains itself, in a metaphorical way of thinking. Especially when they play the 'Sit back and close your eyes'. It's a message to say to chill th F*** out. This is the life we are given. Relax....

Maybe the best definition (using only one word) is to "accept".

General Comment:this song is sooo powerful, especially at 2:55 with the backround melody and more power to the drums.
such desperate sounding lyrics with the perfect combo of instrumentals.

General Comment:the robot minds walk in single file line and do not realize that the art-piece as EL CIELO can produce profound states of grace, "reaching out to embrace the random"

General Comment:burning the bridge between is about smoking marijuana
the start of the album "here we go down that same old road again", + "creativity has been blocked and overtasted" + "dry mouth and a foggy head" + "waiting for the snow" + "we let art die with robot minds, steal the brush and paint boundary lines"

dredg is trying to communicate with you on a transpersonal level if you watch the video for same old road you can understand "a host, a stimulant"

"notes are SILENT, music still apparent" this is the headspace of being in the subcsoncious mind

"with a dry mouth and a foggy head", marijuana causes one to be sucked dry, for some reason, perhaps clogging the throat chakra, watch the video for tool's schism. "we are doomed to crumble unless we grow and strengthen our communication" + '"sucking up all we can take"

it is the same message, but dredg's is gentler,
one uses cannabis just for "constant overstimulation" and, with a robot mind, passively intakes, not learning.

General Comment:I was high when I heard this the first time and WOW! I am insane so I understand it, maybe something in their past that was unsettling happened and they tried to become someone else to deal with it, to try and find beauty in this mess of a world where people are massacred all the time. They are introverted and bottled up ergo the wall? They think their perspectives and feelings are in a class of there own, and they want to know if anyone out they're can relate to thier so called dilusions. Share your insanity don't be selfish, lol. Na this is a great song.

General Comment:It could have something to do with it, ecspecially since the story pertains to sleep. El Cielo itself seems to be about sleep during some key songs, like "Scissorlock" for example.

Or it could be entirely unrelated! :D
