worst cover ever... an insult to nofx... almost made me cry... one of the best songs ever shouldnt try to be covered by this band... this hurts my feelings and should hurt all nofx fans' feelings.... damn you blink.... damn you to hell.... NYA!

Why would NOFX even let this retarted band cover their song. It's one of NOFX's best, and they didn't even do a good job covering it. Blink 182 can burn, along with all the other crap that's played on MTV!!!

OMG those asshole's made a perfectly good song into shit!! This by far is the worst cover I have ever heard in my life. I though the Rock Tribute To Rap cd was shit but damn Blink topped it all again, from being the worst band with the worst song, album and now the worst cover ever!!

First off, don't let my name fool you. I like Blink, but my name has nothing to do with them. Seriously.

Second thing is, this cover fucking sucks. What the hell were they thinking? This is one of the worst covers I have heard. "Dancing With Myself" was bad, but it was funny. But they just killed this song. They made a great song a piece of shit. I can't believe it... how the hell did THEY get permission to do this song? Especially after the outcome...

fuck nofx? why did blink had to cover a of the stupist song? from of the most lame band, fuck i swear i cant stand nofx they fucking suck big dick. blink is one of my favorte bands. and im really pissed. why did blink 182 had to do a fucking cover by one of the lamest punk band ever. OK this sounds bad and the original version rules but this was from their first demo, was recorded on a shitty 4-track, and was never actually released! so it doesnt really matter and i know if they did it again it would sound good!

Eh, I really didn't think it was too different from the original song. It's not the greatest cover ever or anything, but it's not horrible. At least it's tolerable. Plus, Blink covered this way back when they were first starting out, so of course it's not going to sound that great.

To start...NOFX are the fucking gods of punk. When they cover shit, its always better than the original. But If Blink can't even play their own songs right, what makes them think they can play NOFX's songs right? This song fuckin sucks even for the "Buddha" era of Blink.

well done 'zeroauthority' you mused me, you gave me an incentive to join songmeanings.com. I'm sure your mother will be very proud. Now, allow me to mimic your uninformed style for a while ;) 'To start... NOFX are NOT the 'fucking gods of punk'', they didn't start it (i wont embarass myself by pretending i know who were the first punk band), but the sex pistols were way better, they were REAL punk, they had problems, they had something to complain about. The point is, NOFX amount to little more than a comedy gang of musicians, yes, they make good music, i dont doubt it, but to say they're the gods of punk is more than slightly OTT... Secondly, no cover is ever better than the original, it's not possible, because the original is how the song is meant to sound, a cover is a new artists interpretation of what they want the song to be like. Now i'm a big blink fan, and not a huge NOFX fan, but this isn't a dig at them, its a dig at you, yes, this IS personal :) because you sir, are a loser ;) And referring back to the whole original artist/cover artist debate, blink clearly can play their own songs right, because thats how they want their songs to be played...

Crass are acredited along with the Sex Pistols for 'starting' the punk music scene. But everyone has a bias now days. Noone can listen to what they want without someone critisizing. People who are 'proud to listen to punk music' usually contradict themselves by telling people what is and isn't a certain thing and which bands better and stupid shit like that. People need to chill and just listen to what they want and keep their preconceptions and judgements to them fucking selves. To all you people who say 'this cover fucking sucks so much' I bet if I played you the song and didn't tell you who it was by or..told you if it was by one of your 'identified' punk bands, then you'd like it straight away. It's about the music, some people are too worried about the image or some shit. I'm a big fan of Nofx and Blink. Both songs are good, if you don't like it then keep it to yourself. Don't force your opinions onto others. That's how pop music works. Wouldn't wanna be like that now, would you?

you are a loser.punk is not having problems.you are seriously really fucking stupid.punk is about rebellion and thinking for yourself.the sex pistols were a fucking boy band.they were started by some guy who wanted to start a band because punk had just come out.i also think that the guy who started the band wrote their music too.but im not sure and if he did that makes it even less cool.so if they are real punk then how are they thinking for themselves and i mean in what way did they rebel.oh i see they rebelled by doing what some guy told them to do oh and they dont even think for themselves.i mean punk is about having problems. woops

real punk is dead, thank fuck.. but the attitude lives on in this newer punk rock ie nofx, blink, rancid etc. all these bands kick ass because they have talent unlike, say, the sex pistols whose songs all sound alike. also by "newer punk rock" i dont mean the last couple of years cos nofx are in their 20th year.

punk is not about the problems you have, its about the opinions that you have. blink rule, good bye

Sex Pistols are gone.
They may have helped create the 'pop-punk-rock' of today, but they are no longer a part of it. Stop living in the past and worshiping a dead band.

This song is a bad cover by Blink 182, but this was on Flyswatter EP, which was badly recorded. What do you expect? And if you dislike Blink, don't post comments where they aren't needed.
Oh, and Blink aren't classed as true punk, btw. They never have been and never will be.

1. Sex pistols were a band that was started to help out this new scene. The "punk" scene they had some talents but Sid was so fucking horriable at bass.

2. i personally dont like blink 182 but to all of you who say they suck your wrong. are you in a band that has made it big have you made albums that have sold alot. i bet you havent. these guys can play music and well im not as good as they are so i suck compared to them

3. this is one of nofx greatest songs and i do think blink totally fucked it up. thats all i really can say about that
