    General Comment:He just wanted to sing peaceful, lovely songs. Didn't want to be "Not another bean in the star machine"

    After you get some attention, you got to get into the "game" if you want to continue singing. The game is selling your soul. He choose a different path.

    General Comment:This song really confused me when i read the lyrics-its great, like all his music but it defo confused me more than he usually does.SImple in a way-he was sinking into a bad way of life and something got him out of that. Still, it seems muddling-or in my brain anyway! The 'another bean in the star machine bit' seems to be about him not standing out and then standing out, almost defeating it and making him a star. If all just seems really odd......
