i was going to wait untill the new album came out, but i cheated and downloaded this song, and a few others. whoops i cheated. i am really looking for ward to going out on the 17th and buying the new album. the boys of Lifehouse faced a large challenge when they attempted to follow up No Name Face, judging by a few songs, they did just fine

I love this song. It's really catchy and the chorus is awesome. From what I can understand (interpertations are not my forte) this song seems to be about realizing that there's more to life than materialism (evidenced in the line "Everything I've seen never seems to fill me now"), like relationships and spirituality.

=P Well, that's my crappy interpertation.

its actually, "patience can wait for now/ i think ive waited for too long/ you always gave a choice/ and the right to be wrong

i love this song

I think is kinda a bit about fakeness

friends deciding what to do and how they should dress etc.

its like following a crowd but deciding that you want to be an individual and find out what its like on your own, being your own person, hence the chorus.

"Silence is golden, but I think it's gonna kill me" is one of the best lyrics I have ever heard. Best song on the album.

I interpreted it differently, to match the situation I was going through at the time. It just reminds me of putting my heart out there, waiting for a reaction. Like, just let me know what it's going to be, so we can either take things further or I can move on in my life.

I think itas aboutlife in general.. "no one told me that the world could fall through " yeah shit happens all the time and you may not be prepared but u have to get over it and go on "in between this am I gonna find a way

Amazing lyrics. Yeah, this definetly has to be one of the best songs on the album. This is like my life song. I totally agree with ita_xoxo's interpetation. Couldn't have said it better myself. Anyways, good song.

My interpretation of the song is a person going through a struggle.

It seems like someone has been controlling his life, and he finally realizes this and knows that he has to take control of his life again, but he seems to be confused with it all.

It may be different than what you guys see it as, but I've always pictured a struggle with this song.

Sounds like someone has left him, hence the silence. "Silence is golden, but I think it's going to kill me now."

Inbetween the struggle of trying to get over it, will he find a way if he keeps thinking about the past.

Probably pretty self-explanatory. He hasn't been living like he's alive, but he is, so he needs to start living life again.

In general, the first verse seems to be how everything was right, and then the bottom fell out. The second verse is him realizing he's waited too long to get over it.

aiting for someone to make your decisions for you, but take is life into his own hands cause he's sick of living safely wishing his life was what it used to be like in the past when he was happy
