  Song Meaning:At a show in Indianapolis lead singer Tyler Connolly stated that the song was written in first person from the perspective of a deceased individual who had committed suicide. The lyrics represent the person’s regret towards killing his/herself and being without the people he/she cares about.

  General Comment:wow.... thats all i can say about this song. absolutely BEAUTIFUL song, melody and lyrics. i know this song is written from the perspective a man who committed suicide, but being a deployed soldier, i can relate in a different way. i miss my wife, my best friends, and my family. "the last song" to me is: that "one more chance" i could've had to kiss my wife one more time, tell my family i love them one more time.
  anyways, thats what it means to me.

  General Comment:This song makes me think so much about my sister who died a year ago, it seems more about a guy/girl breaking up but whenever I hear it it makes me think about the circumstances of which she died and how it could have been prevented and all of the good times we had. whatever, its the internet.

  General Comment:I think this song could also mean something about missing an opportunity, and that "last song" would be what would happen if he had taken that opportunity... Of course, I just came up with this idea on my own =/.

  General Comment:This song is about a guy contemplating suicide and then realizing all the things that he is going to miss if he does " I miss my best friends cheap cigars stupid kids and movie starts"
  That is actually what this song is about.. I seen it in a theory interveiw. But whether or not the guy in this song kills himself is up to the listener

  General Comment:This song reminds me of when you fall in love with someone but you don't have the courage to get to know them and you wait too long "I blame myself for just standing there too long" and then they find someone else to be with. Missing the last song is like missing out on the chance with the greatest girl you know.
