Pictures of You is a cracking song by the Cure.

After getting very very used to modern brand new, hearing songs like this again makes me smile. They're just cute. Such a transformation though... just through the lyrics you can hear Jessey growing up...

songmeanings is awesome, i don't think i would have ever figured out who laetitia was.. that's funny :) i love this song. one of my favorite moments of summer was singing this really loud (and other songs, but specifically this) with three of my closest friends while driving to see their show.

i've always absolutley adored this song....even though there is a strong possibility it's either about porn or else some fantasy about a supermodel....still, i think the chorus is the sweetest thing ever...

Hehe. I guess this song is about him liking that model. He likes to 'look' at her pictures in magazines.. and he fantasizes about her. He is lonely without her, even though he knows they'll probably never ever be together. He stills dreams of the day that he will 'sweep her off her feet.' I think it's cute in a way to see him so hopeless romantic. "The only broken-hearted loser you'll ever need." I just love that.
