Brand New is cool. I caught the tour in portland and 1/2 the crowd left after TAKING BACK SUNDAY played their set. Pretty Funny.

haha thats funny that half the crowd left after taking back sunday. i saw the tour in fresno(everyone was there to see rufio) and brand new could only play one fucking song, cuz the power went out, but it was this song(their shortest song also). But hey this songs awesome. I don't really understand it though.

this song kicks so much ass. the lyrics are so great. brand new is one of the best bands i've heard in awhile. when i heard the controversy between TBS and Brand New i decided to listen to a few Brand New songs and i'm glad i did. Brand New kick so much ass. { AND SO DOES TAKING BACK SUNDAY }

The controversy... who knows? Actually, TBS uses A LOT of Brand New's lyrics in their songs. Mabye that's it, but I dunno, I thought they were friends. Who knows... anyway, I'm seeing all of them on Thursday in Philly... it'll be my 3rd time for BN. Should be cool. Does anyone know the stage times? Like if any of you went, who went on when?

the lead singer of brand new's g/f cheated on him with the lead singer of TBS and then BN wrote 70 times 7, and then TBS wrote There's no "I" in team to retaliate it
so now there not friends, but i don't kno why they would tour together if they didn't make up

do you guys have anything better to do with your time than argue about what the bands are doing besides the music... 70 times 7 is a biblical quote about how many times jesus says you should forgive someone AND to add a crucial point... they are on tour because they are friends... maybe if you read the lyrics to either song you'd realize that neither is about hatred of the other member of the band.. it's about being pissed off at them but forgiving in the end.... thank you.. and goodnite

also, jesse sings with tbs on theres "no i in team" and vice versa on "Seventy Times 7" its really cool. they are cool guys. they are all cool with each other.

i went to see them last night. and everyone cared less about alli with an i, brand new, or rufio. all they wanted to see was taking back sunday. which is pretty lame. because brand new kick ass. so do rufio and alli with an i. anyway. i love this song. my favorite. first song brand new played last night too. yay.

I love this song. But big surprise, I love everything brand new. I saw them last Friday, and I didn't notice anyone leaving after TBS. But they both put on an amazing show.

wow. listen. tbs guitarist i beleive (or singer) one of them ithink the guitarist...(the one with glasses in the video for great romances) fucked lead singer of brand new's girlfriend....at first lead singer was pissed obvioulsy blah blah but now he blames it on the girl and they did write those 2 songs about each other (along with like 7 other songs...."i got a 20 dollar bill", listen to the whole cds....listen to head club by tbs...songs are about each other...thats what makes them different from most emocore bands....and now their friends etc. and are on tour together because time heals everything like it did with their relationship....


or it was all a conspiracy to get famous =P

i think the bullet/chapstick line is saying...given the situation these two guys were in, like...jesse was saying something to the effect of "you can hurt me in one of two ways" - something done directly to him (bullet), or something fucked up like getting with his girl (lips, chapstick, etc).

this song rocks, its one of the best on the cd brand new is an amazing band especially live i saw them with tbs/rufio/and little league in philly. and if u guys like brand new u should really check out Little League, they rock, check the songs lucky and dr. kramer you wont be sorry

IrUnWiThSiZoRs - I always took it as being kindof dirty, you know? I'm not sure how it fits, exactly... let's say it's Jesse telling some girl to tell some other guy why Jesse's wrist is sore. Like... so maybe the girl wasn't supposed to be with Jesse that night, and maybe Jesse knows this "him." I don't know. That's pretty made-up.

My major question: is this song supposed to be about anger towards a girl? If so then that thing somebody said that I really liked about the bullet/chapstick line doesn't quite work. Well... it does, but you have to apply it to the chick. Is she going to hurt him to his face, [bullet], or by looking pretty [chapstick] and flirting with other guys?

Why do people make such a deal out of 2 bands having the same line in a song? I'm sure hundreds of bands hae the same lines as other bands do... it's not such a big deal.
