"You easily get angry over trifles"
"Take that seriously because it's important"
"Please, don't lose your temper, don't get excited"
"I still have a great deal more to tell you"

I want to see you again someday
So, leave me alone. Away with you!

"You are good for nothing, also mocker"
"You are rotten at inside and outside"
"Tidy yourself up! Shame on you!"
"I don't dislike you, but I don't make friends"

I want to see you again someday
So, leave me alone. Away with you!

I want to see you again someday.
So leave me alone. Away with you!
Everyone told me that I was wrong
I have nothing to do with it!
They gave me a lot of advice
I don't want to have anything to do with you!

General Comment:They use some english probably partially due to the fact that they are heavily influenced by the pixies who, by the way, sang in spanish in some parts of some of their songs, so the pillows using some english isn't that off.

General Comment:I agree that Japanese bands should generally try and stick to using their own language. But it's fun and vogue to use English in Japan, apparently. As someone once said of "engrish" it adds the same exotic flavor for the japanese that using translated chinese characters (like "strength" or "love" or whatever) does for english speaking countries. Why does anyone have to be exotic? I dunno, maybe we should all see each other as full and complex cultures.

I like this song. Can't speak to its meaning though because I prefer the instrumental.

General Comment:Just look at the lyrics, it's not to hard to see what it's about. It's about a guy who's pissed off at everyone telling him what to do.
All the lyrics in quotes are what people have been telling him. Then at the end, he tells everyone to go away. It's just not a very good translation.

General Comment:Japanese bands/singers need to stick to japanese
You don't see American bands/singers saying random Japanese words in the middle of songs do you?

General Comment:actually, this song kicks so much ass it's not even funny.
it's an excellent fight song, and utilised flawlessly in FLCL.

General Comment:And, besides, Japanese songs usually tend to focus on the sound, not the lyrics.
If you want proof, listen to the instrumental version of this song on the FLCL soundtrack. It's friggin awesome.

General Comment:This is a good song, I don't like any of your guys comments, except for ShadowZero's and mega's, they are not trying to search for a deep meaning that isn't there. And they are not also ragging on the Pillows for being Japanese, i isn't their fault that their english isn't great.

General Comment:This song is the paragon of bad translation, and it should be acclaimed for that alone.

If you actually want to squeeze any trace of meaning from the song, I would say it's about a guy who loves a girl, despite all his friends' warnings, but is sick of her temper and her being around him all the time.
