to me this song is about corporate greed. and how big business, govornment, and all other leaders of the nation tend to take the life out everything. they are heartless wretches searching for ways to fill their pockets. i think appleseed incorporates the 'greed' storyline throughout the entire low level owl series. its nice to hear meaningful, beautiful music....about something other than heartache and loneliness...though this song can make one feel quite lonely. it is still beautiful in every aspect of the word. (breath of relief)....finally a band that can right wonderful, meaningful, breath-taking music. all within stride.
