I suppose "I want" makes more sense but I just don't here the two distinct syllables, I've also seen versions where it says "want to be with you" without the "I" which fits more to the one syllable that I'm hearing but nonetheless I think it's "Oh".
i like that song anyway
I guess that's just what we twist out of songs to feel understood and not quite so alone.
