    Song Meaning:The song was written about the (girlfriend or wife) of lead singer of the band "snot", Lynn Strait, who was killed in a car accident. Lajon and Clint were close friends with both Lynn and his partner.

    General Comment:I agree with those that say it is about a mother/child relationship. I believe that the type of relationship that is describes has a lack of intimacy that would be in a man/woman relationship.

    It just shows that even though parents can sometimes be poisonous to their children, they almost can't help but love them.

    To me it sounds like its from the perspective of a son, who is older, looking at his mother who has a drinking problem. It also gives me sort of a helpless impression. As if he is looking back at all that she has gone through when he was too young to do anything to help her, and now he feels like it is too late, but he would do anything to bring her out of that dark place that she is in.

    General Comment:I think this song represents a relationship between a son and his mother. Even though they've had it hard for so long, the love that is between them is still obviously prevalent. He thinks about his mother all the time, and wishes that they had a better relationship, or that he had grown up under different circumstances....And he wishes the pain he caused his mother he could take away, and rebuild something new and better. But in his eyes, he knows, it's "too far-gone" and they don't even talk anymore. And every Christmas he remembers her...And wishes...

    General Comment:I know this sounds a bit morbid but I think the song is about someone with an abusive alcoholic mother and thinks he might go crazy and murder her.

    Could mean that he feels like hes going to snap and do something bad and he doesn't want her to be around when it happens.
