    My Opinion:this song might mean something like someone who was popular or something and they liked someone who wasnt popular so they hung out with them and the popular people started to not like him as much and kinda thought he was starting to be a loser and so each day he hangs out with the unpopular kid he gets more left behind from his popular friends then the unpopular kid moves or something and the popular kids want to be the kids friend again and he wants to but he also doesnt want to so since they couldnt accept his unpopular friend he decides to not be their friends and they grow angry at eachother over time and he ends up as one of the unpopular people. just an example i thot of.

    My Interpretation:I was recently watching a video of corey doing an interview. He wrote this song while he was homeless living under a bridge. He was saying that he met the best friends of his life while living under that bridge, and when he joined slipknot and stone sour, he lost those friends. He Left Them Behind. And the song is a reflection of that. That was the only real lvoe and trust he's ever know. And he said hell probably never see those people again. Now...where thalydamide comes in...I'll never know. Although thalydamide is a drug that they gave pregnant women back in the day. And it made their babis come out deformed and stuff. Idk, i was just tellin you guys what corey said.
