This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
One more time you will laugh about it
And he'll never try to give you more
And I don't care, he is such a dick
Treats you like you are a stupid whore
And it seems like things will never change
You go on, every cloud is in your way
And I know you feel empty all the time
You'll never listen to anything that I say
She's better off sleeping on the floor
'Cause she fell right off
When all is said, you know
It's okay to just want more
Why'd you leave when you claim it is love?
But why stay when you're not the only one?
She's proved she's strong
Be brave, be strong
She's better off sleeping on the floor
'Cause she fell right off
When all is said, you know
It's okay to just want more
She's better off sleeping on the floor
She's better off sleeping on the floor (because she fell right off her bed)
She's better off sleeping on the floor
She's better off sleeping on the floor (because she fell right off her bed)
She's better off sleeping on the floor
She's better off sleeping on the floor (because she fell right off her bed)
She's better off sleeping on the floor

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve.
The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future.
Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere"
The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988.
"'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it."
"There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
I have felt this and still feel this about one of my friends who keeps taking her boyfriend back after he constantly hurts her. He's a dick and treats her like she's a stupid whore.
quality quality quality...
i think i'm better off sleeping on the floor...
i can really relate this to my friend, her boyfriend screws with her mind and treats her like crap, and is only there for sexual reasons.. but she doesnt understand.. she thinks shes in love with him. and she never listens to me. every word of this song.. i really like it..
First of all, I want to make it clear that blink is NOT in it for the money. When you strive for a career in music, the money comes along with it, thats part of the package if you will. Its not just like, "oh, well I wanna be rich so Im gonna go be a rock star now". If you really are talented and like music enough to do that, go ahead and do it, but dont do it just for the money. Money comes WITH it, thats not the main purpose blink is in the music industry.
I love this song
logic.... hehe dont worry, i was like, wtf is emo? when i first came to this site yestaday but i found out it means like, emotional kinda related music. that kinda thing. and also, please kinda fuck off if you dont like blink, why the hell are you here? anyways bak to the song - Why leave when you claim it is love? But why stay when you're not the only one? i think its just about the chick who is fully into this guy who treats her so badly..... and i think she realises that but she just doesnt wanna leave him
i luv this song so much. guy likes gurl, girl likes dickhead but doesnt c that hes like that. guy tries hard to make her see but it dunt work. so sad so sad
the "she's better of sleepin on the floor" means that even if the guy treats her like shit, shes startin to move away from him.
