wow..i love this song.. it was one of the first on duderanch to really get my attention. very very good lyrics, really powerful, especially the last part.

I was never a big Blink fan, although I do admit their old stuff was much better than their recent works.

This is one of my favorite songs, I believe it has the most meaning compared to a lot of Blink songs and it's quite relatable.

This line gets me every time:

"I'll take what you're willing to give
And I'll teach myself to live
With a walk-on part of a background shot
From a movie I'm not in"

It's pretty much saying, "I need to be a part of your life, whether you're willing to think of me as signifigant or unimportant, but as long as I'm there, I'll take anything." Beautiful. :)

wendy clear is about this prominent figure in the music business that mark dated and had to keep quiet about it because she was so important, but that dusnt matter cuz this isnt wendy clear its apple shampoo. Its abotu this old girl frend mark had, and the relationship jus got boring and stretched out. Mark tries and tries to keep it alive while she jus kinda lets it go its own way.

that is without a doubt my favourite line. he sings it so well!!! i absolutely LOVE this song. its so beautiful. I never wanted to hold you back

that part is also so good! the whole song is excellent, DEFINATELY one of my favourites of theirs. DUDE RANCH is the greatest album ever made... by anyone. i can listen 2 it alll day and no other album i can do that with. except maybe the other blink cds :) but this is the greatest

...OK this song IS not about Gwen! At all!...Mark did write most this song..but the feelings are from Tom. It was a about a girl that Tom was dating and they were on the verge of a breakup and wanted to write a song for her. As Far as the name goes it is true....It was named Apple Shampoo becuz my hair always smelled like apples to Tom

I'm don't know so much about DHC but i didn't really thaught that it were a girl named lisa in that group. Is it really?
Anyway the song is really good, one of the best blink songs.
Old blink is defintily better but new blink is also okay.
But Blink or any other band is never gonna be as good as green day!!!!

ok... fine i HATE... no, I LOATH their 2 last cds, completely betrayed their older style. They DO NOT suck, and if u think they suck what the hell are you doing posting here in the first place Ò_ó... Blink used to be the i-don't-give-a-shit type of band and they were funny as hell AND their songs kicks major arse, now they've become serious and they're songs are a desgrace to the punk rock gender. They slipped bigtime after Enema of the State...
